@constantinosschinas4503 it depends what you want. If you don't like the weight, then you're looking at an enduro. I've got a 701 and a 501. I'm happy to sacrifice service intervals and road manners for an off road weapon, but I can see the point of a 40 bhp bike trail/travel bike. It is heavy though. My son has a 390 Duke and the engine is fun. It feels faster than it is. For me, the 701 or 690 is a better option, but I'd also be looking at a lot of other bikes if I were in the market right now. This bike is a couple of years too late and entering a crowded market.

@@TheIdlesurfer My problenm is not what i like or not. My problem is A2 license rules destroying all bikes from all manufacturers, when i highly doubt if more than 10% of the buyers are actually A2 license holders. Not a matter of taste, but of weird company behaviours.

@@yamkaw346 For starters it could have more power +5 or 10hp, easily (690s have 74hp). But most important, since A2 bikes cannot have more than 0.26HP per kg, all A2 bikes are intentionally heavy. The Adventure R could be 145kg, dry. Now it is 165Kg. I have the 690 SMC R and it is lighter than the 390 SMC R. All because of the A2 licenses. Or at least, that is the excuse. In other bikes it is even more awful. Modern 500cc twins could roll around 60 to 70hp, and they are confined to 47hp. It is just ridiculous. Ask KTM directly. They will tell you the same.

KTM - you need to realise that people want smaller cc bikes, twins and not high end powerful weapons. Your buyer mostly comes for 400-600cc segment hence the focus should be on that to survive and limit the big bike fiasco. I said it, remember that. We love you KTM and we want you back.
