I can say that’s what you call a beat down from the Motherland! You ladies and gentleman is the reason why I’m back in my healthy zone after being told that I had to loose weight for health reasons. I tried everything and nothing was working! Then I asked what would my ancestors do? And then I found y’all! I have posted y’all in my group for those who feel like I did and you all have gave me hope and helped restore my health! Thank you! I’m in America where we have the largest obesities rates in the world in African Americans How ever I’m Moorish American and a descendant of the Motherland I think for us things must be a tuned to our DNA for it to work properly for us we have to get back to our roots on all level to achieve maximum health!

I do enjoy these so much more than others, becuse it's so much easier to follow than say Latin dances to beats of 3.. I can't follow them at all. I have no rhythm at all 😂. My only problem with these ones is so many hands in the air movements, I have a ceiling light above me so have to modify them 🤣🤣🤣

One of my favourite movies of all time is Kirikou and the sorceress. I used to watch it as a kid, and I remembered how impressed I was at the beautiful colors, the music and the landscapes, and probably that started my love for Africa. But one thing I remember very clearly is the gorgeous silhouettes of the women in that movie, as well as how these silhouettes looked while dancing. Watching Mama Kukuwa makes me remember that a lot. When I first started this workout I was 314 lbs, flailed around trying to keep up, could barely breath and had to stop every few minutes. Today I am 208 lbs, know all the movements by heart, breath with no problem and go the whole way through. Thank you so much! It is your joy that kept me coming back. :)
