I was travelling into South Wales for much of last summer and autumn, so I got to really appreciate what a beautiful part of the world it really is (but not so much in the winter). Personally taking into account where your starting from im surprised you didn't take in belle vue park rather than a rec and likewise for shots across to the valleys i would suggest that the ridgeway offers a wider perspective over the nature reserve, motirway and across the valleys

I have been in a similar health situation including being placed in a medical hospital for treatment but found the only way out was to think positive ,Talking to people about your situation and not taking strong medications that they tried to force me to take....I was always told no matter what you must make the first move by helping yourself ,positive attitude and outlook...always light at the end of the tunnel.
