Po's Dad is played by the legendary actor James Hong...who started his acting career in uncredited roles in 1954. You may have seen him as David Lo Pan in Big Trouble in Little China, or perhaps you saw him in Wayne's WOrld 2, or maybe heard him as a voice in Mulan.,,among many many other roles.

Hong is iconic. He also had a starring guest appearance as a droll, indifferent maitre d in "The Chinese Restaurant (Seinfeld Season 2 Ep 11). It's particularly funny because of the cross-reference to "The Soup Nazi" (Seinfeld Season 7 Ep 6) in Mr. Valentine's above review when at 2:38 where he shows a clip and says "No soup for you!"
