The craziest part about all of these leveling event rewards is that NONE of them were announced during the livestream. Players were already satisfied by the events and content in 1.3., and all of these insane events came out of nowhere in a patch note several days before the update. I can't view it as anything other than a gift to the playerbase. That's how you know a developer cares.

I just absolutely love how kuro made black shore characters. On one hand we've got shorekeeper who is so gentle, fragile and honest but on the other we've got camellya who is cool, badass and we even mistaken her for fracidus.

100% agree! I feel like they have to be some of the smartest devs to make a game. They are building their base from launch by listening and implementing improvements, which is something Genshin didn't ever have to do. Genshin had the pandemic lock down period to carry them into the top spot. Not hating entirely on Genshin, they paved the way for titles like this by showing that they were possible and profitable. The biggest difference is Kuro/ WuWa is doing it better.

People were mocking Kuro for not putting Asterites in the reward. If only they ACTUALLY played the game and KNEW that Shell Credit is the thing that we need the most because we do not need to pull a new character to clear contents, but to upgrade the characters we already own, and it's EXPENSIVE.

With kuros generosity I was able to get enough pulls to go to hard pity on shore keepers banner with 76 pulls saved up for Camellya keep in mind we still have a month plus till patch ends so more pulls. If I honestly made more money I would’ve spent on the game because Kuro deserves it!

PGR players: "First time?" Seriously though, I hope they go all-in like in PGR, in that game, I can literally build all characters due to the amount of dispensible character and weapon-levelling materials I have. I think this is intentional as they know the fun part is the combat and not the tedious grind. You get all character-levelling materials during a patch event, I think Arknights is the same not sure though. WuWa needs more tbh. But I appreciate the shell credits for my San Hua and Mortefi. Also, this could be a method to alleviate the issue of new players pulling a rerun character while still unable to acquire a certain material.

as a punishing gray raven players (kuro first game ) their level of generosity is exactly what make me love there games most of there money comes with skins and new char with whale players spending money to get it to S6 (or sss+ in pgr ) and skins by not be able to buy it unless you spend money yet kuro still from time to time send a free skins to the players in pgr (sometimes with free char as well ) so we might see this happen in wuwa as well so keep an eye ;)

I'm aware that Genshin doesn't deserve to be defended for several reasons, but the game also doesn't deserve the hate I've seen. It has good things like the lore, beautiful locations, mechanics, and music (very good music). I'm a very, very low spender on Genshin, yet I can enjoy the game with more teams available than I actually need. In this video, the quote at 0:57, "...and starting to implement things that players aren't asking for," while showing the Chronicle banner from Genshin, is totally wrong. A lot of players who haven't seen the banner of the character they want for 1year+ actually want this. To say players aren't asking for it is completely false. That quote at 0:57 is nonsense to me, but how this banner works is worse and the fact that """bad characters""" get fewer reruns is the real nonsense, not the banner itself. I want to clarify that I have no hatred towards anyone, I'm not comparing any games here, and I'm not exactly a huge fan of Genshin. However, I feel like people love to hate on Genshin and are proud of it. else, Wuwa is a good game, and even though the recent characters didn't hype me up, the announcement of Camellya made me jump back into the game instantly. It's mostly early day GI players, and there's a good reason for that. I myself am a day1 player and I've been disappointed with the way GI treats its playerbase. Where all highly requested QoLs are being funnelled into their lastest titles, instead of the game itself. At least they are improving now, with loads of QoL updates in 5.0+. But I can't help but think if not for WuWa's release, would these updates ever get implemented? Hoyo or at least the GI team is like a mule. You have to keep whipping it for it to perform. While Kuro has more self initiative to perform. Side note, I'm still waiting for artifact loadouts and a skip button. HSR 2.6 adding past event weps and it's less than 2yrs old. It's frustrating, because you know the GI team can do it. But they just won't, as they will still make bank with minimal effort. It's sad.

Kuro's mindset is that grinding and farming should not be the endgame, but simply a part of it, they want their player to finish their grinding quickly so they can enjoy the actual content which is boss rush, events and challenges.

This is kinda off topic but it relates to kuro being generous. Ive gotten 2 monthly passes so far from launch and ive been able to get r1 yinlin changli xiangliyaos weapon and shorekeeper. I lost my 5050 twice in changli and shorekeepers banner. And i havnt fully explored the map or done all the quests. The ammount of 5 stars i have is just amazing. Ive gotten every single 5 star i wanted so far. And this isnt even taking into account the standard banner weapons and characters. Those 2 monthly passes were from me feeling guilty from playing such an amazing game for free 😂

If it weren't for the recent events, I wouldn't have had the tuners, exp and echoes to upgrade my Changli, Yinlin and Jinhsi. Those resources let me take them the point where it will be really difficult to change and upgrade their echoes, which directly translated to better performance in the ToA despite my skill issues; which also means more Astrite in the end. Its indirect, but Kuro's methods do work. I'll trust them in what they bring out next.

WUWA being so generous with the guaranteed weapon banner, me getting Zhezhi in just 40 pulls (same as her weapon) and getting Shorekeeper in just 10 pulls made me quit and uninstall HSR the other day. I am so tired of their 50/50 pulls, rigged relic drops, rigged relic rolls, power creeping, etc. I will miss my E2/S1 Acheron and Firefly though but I am just so tired of Hoyo’s vicious cycle.

What people tend to not realize on the surface is that having the resources to pull for characters is good and all, but it is a moot point if you lack the resources to properly build those characters. Thanks to these events, I was not only able to build SK with relative ease, but also invest a bit more into the XY I got for free last version. Hopefully 1.4 has some more of these events so I can invest in Camellya with equal ease~

It's actually really cool they're giving us the gold overworld materials, because they're a bitch to farm, especially those rings. They only drop from Exiles, so by playing the game normally, killing everything in my path, I ended up with like 1/5th of the rings compared to the other two. Same with credits, skill upgrades are expensive as all hell.

When I spend on gachas I always feel frustrated or like it was a waste of money, but in Wuwa I spend £30-£40 every update and it feels rewarding for me. If they create skins I'll be buying them if I can afford it :D

They're giving us Astrites so we can pull for Camellya, Kuro Games is the GOAT, they love both F2P and P2P players, and since they're adding skins in the future, they'll finally have another source of income. In Punishing: Gray Raven, Kuro's main source of Income is literally just the Battle Pass, and the Limited Event skins they release which change not only the Character Model but also the skill effects as well as their Weapon, they're the GOAT.

So much fckin material! I was going to grind credit to lvl my charas but they just gave exactly what I need so I spend all my waveplate for chara ascension instead, ton of material to level my talent already geez I have to grind so much less waveplate to upgrade chara and I pretty much complete the basic echo set (double crit on all set except for Glacio, no chara for it yet) so I only have chara to spent my waveplates on maybe getting all of them to lvl 80? I have 14 chara at lvl 80 now (some to 90) and I'm only lacking Changli 😭and Jianxin. So I have 6 more chara to build, hmm. Maybe I will get it done by the end of 1.4 since I will (hopefully) get Youhu, Camellya and Lumi so that's a total of 9 chara to build? Hmm, I might need to wait for 2.0 I guess to get the extra resource to build everyone. Depend on luck whether I can get the 4 star or not

Dude flexing his 18/18 overdrive tower like: Anyway Overdrive is not hard at all. If anything it is easier than hazard. It is just specifically tailored to having specific characters. I don't even have Zhezhi and I still maxed the left tower with absolute ease with s0 Jinhsi, s0 Yinlin and s0 Verina. Right tower it's all about Jiyan, Xiangli Yao and Shorekeeper. Couldn't quite 6/6 this one because I don't have Jiyan for grouping. Center is for HRover and Changli. Skipped this one for now because I don't have Changli and I didn't build Hakek Rover. Doesn't really matter for now because you only need 9 stars to get the 400 astrites and I got 10. Plus it's permanent (no days left shown anywhere so I assume it's one time only) so...

You can also pop Xiangli Yao in on the right side. He has an insane vacuum effect on his liberation that makes AoE floors a lot more manageable than other DPS

His Liberation having a suction that group peasants into one single area is a step up against those enemies that like to run around alot. This ensured that his Liberation would be able to hit anyone on the field as to prevent a dps loss

this 2m will probably end my need for shell credits ever again. from this point on I can barely envision a time where shell credits are my bottleneck. I do bp as well, tbf. but now I'm likey to have well over 5m, probably 6 or 7m by 1.4 which is enough on its own to build a new character with weapon, and even one more. Since I've already built the majority of the chars i want, so thisll put me over that hump, for good. Tacet fields from here on out unless im building or levelling up n talents/ascension. Likey save the vast majorty of my talent mat runs for double drop times.

All the Genshin shills dissing WuWa players as bots at the beginning. Then BlackShore got released with literal KuroBots as its mascot. Being called KuroBots is now like a compliment and a badge of honor with how well the company has been treating its players.

Even i am not a whale, i fine the way to pay kuro. Cuz i know my money go well in this game, they use your money to create value like: enviroment, character's emotion, sound and music in and outside the game, story experience..... All that stuff makes me feel good when im invest to wuwa

even though i do appreciate the materials on events, i do not think they should replace astrites. If this goes on, people will once again beg the devs to give more astrites so they can have new characters to even use all this materials for. What's even worse, is that this change heavily favors players that spend a lot of money on the game, as they do not really need free astrites to have all the new characters, their weapons, etc. Hope people realise that, and Kuro will oversee these changes and balance them out properly, which i beileve they can do.

I didn't plan on leaving genshin impact when I picked up WuWa. The goal was to play both games - but I don't feel like playing genshin anymore. As much as I love my Raiden Shogun, WuWa devs make this game so much more of a healthy space than Genshin.

Gamepad support for mobile and the material detection is my favorite QoL I play on PC most of the time but sometimes when I'm traveling, playing on mobile is not comfortable.

Other devs try to rip you off and get you to overspend but Kuro is like "Please no, spend responsibly and have fun". Even if you spend nothing or only get the battle pass every month, it's entirely possible to get most or all of the characters. I've only gotten the battle pass each patch and I'm only missing two from launch. There's absolutely no pressure to spend at all. Genshin is not like that.

07:00 i hope they make better bundles indeed. Unless someone got really lucky in their pulls. In the long run ( 1 -1,5 year in ), for people having batlle passes; your going to get into trouble having a lot of resources and nothing left too spend them on if Kuro goes on like this even without the bundles. hell i think unless your 100% F2P your going to run into this problem if you merely buy a battle pass every 1 out of 2 times.
