The game show segment is also most likely based on an actual incident on an episode of Double Dare. A kid with Brittle Bones Desease lied about it on the waver and ended up braking his arm, the parents threatened to sue so they compensated them with the episodes big prize; a flat screen tv, and the episode was never aired, still considered lost media today. Some people speculate that the situation was a set up, (cuz why would you let your kid with such a condition compete in that type of game show?)

The entire show was actually considered lost media since no official dvd or VHS copies were released. Oh fuck yeah, my favorite V/H/S film! I choked on my drink at the "Spice boy" followed by the Old Spice jingle 🤣 The Medusa segment is great and there is a lot to unpack with the male gaze and the Medusa myth in a modern context. The last segment is my favorite in any V/H/S film, I fucking love Dante's Inferno but with dude bro dipshits. Mabel is fucking awesome.
