QUESTIONS ANSWERED: 1.) Kurt did not have an open casket funeral, Krist was allowed to view the body before cremation. 2.) I’ve heard that the restaurant was either a McDonalds or a Jack in The Box. 3.) Source is from the book “Love and Death”

Kurt was a junkie, they will say or try anything to get high, it's only heartbreaking that Kurt was such a jerk to his friend who was only trying to help him and then selfishly killed himself leaving Krist to deal with it, but that's what junkies do

@@pauljones8801 kurt wasnt a jerk to krist.. he was literally having a mental breakdown, you will never know how traumatizing it is to be sent to a ward, unless you experience it. its obvious you havent. also suicide is not selfish. kurt was a mentally ill man, and he was already depressed before the huge arise of fame. all his pain and the unwanted attention got the best of him, and there was no way for him to control that. and if you knew anything about him you would know he literally wanted to live, because he knew courtney and frances would be devastated. the fact that when someone kills themselves, and you immediateley worry about YOURSELF, and how it will affect the rest of YOUR life, is the ONLY thing, regarding a suicide, that is selfish. and i dont know what you think kurt left krist to deal with.. he doesnt wish malice upon anyone, he was a very sweet guy and any person who had met him would tell you

It's impossible to imagine the mind frame of someone who's experience of themselves is so excruciatingly painful for them, that they just have to die. An ex-addict friend of mine with some lingering mental health issues was having a tough time, a woman had politely rejected his romantic intentions at work, and some other life stuff going on, he told some of us friends of his he was struggling, but no mention of any suicide ideation - even when outright asked, he'd smile and say 'no, it's not that bad' - he was part of a small community of people who loved him. Then he was found dead in his apartment one day - he'd gone and got some smack (after not using any mood or mind altering substances for over 3 years) and injected a lethal dose. He'd clearly spent some time making sure his flat was immaculate, washed the dishes and had hung laundry out to dry, written a note to his mum saying goodbye and to forgive him, and then tied off - gone.

I imagine that Krist was the person in Kurt’s life that would NOT put up with his drug addiction and truly loved him as a person, brother, and friend. Yes it is the most tragic ending, sad, but he tried. In some sense he was successful because Kurt went to rehab. But then maybe he gave in. I wish someone could have locked him up in a house for a month. I also wish he had a good woman in his life. He would still be here today.
@CarlyonProduction
@CarlyonProduction Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately that’s not how it works. Locking someone up for a month won’t change a thing. Neither will beating your friend up at the airport. In order to deal with addiction, a person needs to be able to heal in whatever time frame it takes, with compassion and support. I totally understand that it can be the mist frustrating thing for family and friends. But ganging up on Kurt and trying to force him to do it on their terms was a poor choice.

I feel like Courtney gets blamed a lot for Kurt. And yes, I think they were very codependent (as most addicts are) but also- I think she wanted to be better for Frances. I saw that documentary awhile back on HBO and honestly you could really tell Courtney loved Kurt, but also like anyone who was involved w Kurt- her entire existence is being asked questions about Kurt on a pretty regular basis- even now. And there's a huge, well known conspiracy theory (or several honestly) that Courtney killed Kurt, blah blah blah. The truth is (very tragically and sadly) that Kurt had suicide ideation for such a long time and was very honest about it. His state of mind from addiction really didn't help. I hope he's at peace now ❤

Our Gma and Mother were drummers, our Gma being a professional Jazz Drummer from the 40's till her Death. Our Paternal Gpa was in a Country music band that opened for Johnny Cash and that whole gang early on. So, very young we all played something, my Bro Guitar, Sis Drumms, and myself Bass and a bit of guitar. Our Sis can really play anything but doesn't give a shit bc she is a super Mom now lol. Anyways, we were just salt of the earth kids that didn't really fit in and we found our people in Grunge and Rock music from a very young age. 30 years later my Hubs and I still Listen to Nirvana like they are the hot new thing! Unless you go by what Courtney Love says and she is the only one that has said differently. She said there was a puddle of blood but others there say that there was no blood. Except from his ear. The electrician who found him said he saw blood that had trickled from his ear. Someone else said he was a beautiful corpse. Unless we were there we only have what bits of information is put out there. Seems Kurt should of been in pajamas instead of a suit.

I red something 20 Years ago, somewhere that Cobain did not talk to anybody during an entire week after Rome. Around mid march.....i understand better when his two band mates say it was weird, Kurt was weird at that point. It seems like drugs have taken control. So sad.

Krist was an absolute beast of a man so I don't think he couldn't have beaten Kurt in a fight if he wanted too. He clearly loved his friend too much and didn't want to hurt him.

Krist was known in Aberdeen to be a brawler, but Kurt was scrappy. Depends on what you're fighting for...He has never had the same light in his eyes since Kurt died... P.S. It was a Jack in the Box, not McDonald's, not important.

Whats even worse was the reporter asking Krist, Where would nirvana be today if Kurt wouldn't have died,,, FFS, He just poured his heart out, I would have said sorry, Then asked a far diffrent question, Like what have you been doing after that tragic day, Or what is your fondest memory of the band, Something that still makes you laugh,,, Switch the attitude to something lighter,

Confronting an addict in this way is an extremely poor choice of action. People didn’t know any better back then. People end up on heroin because of extreme trauma. The last thing you do is corner them and force them into an even more vulnerable position. A person can only get through something as brutal as that with compassion and support. Threats, physical violence and everyone in your life saying ‘you have to go to rehab now’ will almost never work. It will just make the person feel more isolated.

Krist had a hand in his murder. The royalties from the music give motive to kill. Several people very close to Kurt had motive. Plus, he was too high on heroin to even pull the trigger or reach for the trigger. These bandmates hated each other. The royalties were divided among the band members: Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl. Cobain, as the primary songwriter, got the biggest share. Novoselic and Grohl received a smaller portion for their contributions. After Cobain's death, his share of the royalties went to his estate, managed by Courtney Love and their daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. There has been speculation that Cobain's death wasn't a suicide but a murder, with motives tied to his royalties. Some theories suggest that Krist had a hand in his murder, driven by the potential financial gain from the music royalties. Several people very close to Kurt had motive, given the substantial financial interests at play. Additionally, it's argued that Cobain was too high on heroin to even pull the trigger or reach for the trigger, raising further doubts about the official cause of death. These bandmates reportedly hated each other, adding more fuel to the conspiracy theories. In summary, while Cobain got the most from the royalties, other members and stakeholders also received their portions based on their contributions and contracts. After his death, his estate took over his share of the royalties.

I thought Kurt asked krist to take him to jack in the box because they weren't as greasey as the one they were at and krist got mad after he found out Kurt was just trying to get drugs and be closer to his dealers.

Krist was just being a good friend to Kurt. Dave even told him not to do any harm on himself over the phone. Courtney tried to revive him numerous times b4. She said in 1of her interviews. Poking needles onto his private parts. Cuz he was in an oblivion state of mindset. Since when did Love knew how to revive him tho as a nurse as a doctor as a caregiver as a caretaker as a wife as a his own baby sitter.

The record company should of had handlers with him after Rome especially!!! So many people let him down but none more than Courtney !! Tricking him, playing games, making him feel bad when he dropped Francis etc (yes I know that’s not cool at all) He needed help so bad, Courtney knew he wanted a divorce and I’m not convinced she tried push him to do it or had it done!!
