A friend told me they didn't believe in coincidences today, to which i rolled my eyes. I finally learnt Lovely Day today after years of loving it. And now I'm here watching this video checking out the 2700 sequencer and lo and behold...

Thanks a Lot! It's incredible to see the capabilities of this tool, but I would also like to understand how it all works. Now, if you could film a master class on a sequencer...

If this just had a bigger screen.. I don't think the touch screen everyone uses is a must, once you have the muscle memory for the buttons you get a long just fine, but how much would it cost to have the screen twice as big? this would have made using this instrument and the sequencer especially much easier.

I wonder if Kurzweil is going to continue with the K2700, providing a deluxe version with Forte's switchgear, and also a non-weighted keyboard version.
@GiuseppeDeRosaDRStudio2 жыл бұрын
the K2700 is already powerful, and is superior to the Forte, I don't know if there will be a version with non-weighted keys. Perhaps there will be a 76-key K2700, as was done for the PC4. But Kurzweil hasn't made a 61-key keyboard for years.

@@GiuseppeDeRosaDRStudio Well, utility-wise, yes, the K2700 is the best; however, it's been built to price. On the other hand, the Forte does not feel like it. The Forte has superior switchgear to the K2700, and has the mod wheels located where they should be, to left of the keyboard. With the K2700, Kurzweil seems to have really struggled to go retail within $2,995.

@@dvamateur The build quality is the same. The position of the Mod Weel and the Pich has been changed and I can understand that not everyone likes it. Personally had no difficulty in adapting to the K2700 and PC4

@@GiuseppeDeRosaDRStudio Well, in the meantime I am eyeing a brand new old stock K2600 on eBay. I am not ready for the K2700. 🙂. Maybe in a few years.

Chris Snidow I need help to use multis in song mode. And other questions. Can anyone help out? I wonder if I might be able to pay someone for their time with this?

I see that you also put up a video for the PC4. Do you feel that the K2700 is a major update from the PC4 or are they pretty close in terms of sound, playability and production value?
@GiuseppeDeRosaDRStudio3 жыл бұрын
Some sounds on the k2700 also come from the PC4 and Forte, but the sound performance on the K2700 is much better. The sound is clean and defined and even more powerful. Sounds created on PC4 loaded on the K2700 sound much better. The K2700 does not disappoint expectations. From personal experience I can say that it is a powerful keyboard. I have K2600, I had PC3, now I have PC4 and K2700 ... so I can see the difference

Is it true it doesn’t have damper resonance?
@GiuseppeDeRosaDRStudio3 жыл бұрын
of course!!! has the resonance damper. The video of muzykujkropkacom is badly done. The difference in the video between Forte and K2700 is the addition of reverb to the piano sound in the mix. It would be enough to increase the reverb and you have the same result. Whoever did the demo saying the K2700 has no damper is wrong. The guy in the video probably doesn't even know how to tie his shoes

@@GiuseppeDeRosaDRStudio I’m glad to hear that, I was worried about it because I really want this keyboard. And yes, I find it really weird when I saw his video, I mean, this is a flagship keypoard. It would’ve unacceptable they didn’t iclude that.

I never criticize the work of others, but a professional recognizes the difference of reveb on a sound. Maybe whoever made the video doesn't have a lot of technical knowledge on instruments, but they just play. Making such a video means tarnishing a musical instrument that has enormous potential
