I'm amazed. I've recently been asked to give the welcome, read a bible verse, and give the initiating prayer for my church. They asked me to talk a bit about Perseverance, and I was also told to give a little words of my own so I should probably study a little bit, read, watch some other preachers, ect. What has me in shock, is how much this preach and others that I've watched have felt as if they're speaking DIRECTLY to me. I just wanted to put that out there, this is incredible and now I can't wait for church to start, Thank you Very much.

Timely message. I have noticed how weak I am when I go through certain trials. The Holy Spirit echoed Luke 18 in this message to me. Confirmation!!

A great challenge at the beginning. After years now of perseverance and what seams a constant battle from every direction I am a living result of pressing in. It’s been a long hard journey and in the natural I shouldn’t be standing. Yet the hardest times have been the best ever times for growth, faith, intimacy, grace and forgiveness. The hardest times have been the greatest on my journey with God. I’m astounded at what Yahweh has done in me, through me, in those around me and thankful for every moment. A question I’d ask is… are we keeping our ears open in these times. Are we seeing what we need to hear, continuing in obedience and repenting when it’s required? Are we giving Him all our love and attention in these trials? Im in awe as to the changes in me that God faithfully reveals when my attention could so easily be on what’s going on instead of what Gods doing in trusting faith.

Thank you for this encouragement. I am a graduate student/laboratory intern currently working to finish my dissertation. Its been a difficult couple of years and I am nearing the end of the program. The last chapter of my dissertation presents results from a program I wrote that does nuclear forensics on reactor fuel. The program, with the equations and data it uses, has been a challenge for me. Last night I was really frustrated with a part of the program not working well, and I settled into a mindset of anger towards God, who knows all the answers to my problem. This message helped change my perspective to continue to persevere.

Then he said, "Take the arrows," and the king took them. Elisha told him, "Strike the ground." He struck it three times and stopped. So the man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck five or six times, then you would have struck Aram until you would have destroyed it. But now you shall strike Aram only three times.''

“My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?” So he went down and dipped seven times (not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, not five times, not six times - BUT SEVEN TIMES, in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean"

Ok religion is a touchy subject when preached/interpreted in a wrong way to prosecute others. Why the gays have to be the most severely punished by GOD and not the divorcées, gluttony or pedophiles, etc. I mean the gays can and do reproduce offsprings in the modern society. But, I admit your preaching on persistence was good, but remember GOD wanted gays on this earth for a reason. You cannot speak for his, the GOD’s creation.
