My best suggestion for Kwackajack's next motorcycle, a Honda CBR650R. It has power on tap from its naturally aspirated 650 CC engine. It can get someone into trouble, if they're looking for trouble; but enough power when you need it, even for a 100kg Bloc like yourself.💯

He Would have to change his name to Hondajack 🤯

True, but Kawasaki has a 650-cc bike too. It's a choice.@@Haydsden

I think that after riding some powerful bikes last year he might want something nice a comfortable but with a bit more power than a 650cc engine. But I could be wrong 😑.

Interesting suggestion, i think i'd be looking around the 100-120hp range.. seems to be the sweetspot for me. (P.s. I just reviewed a 180hp monster today, and while it was a lot of fun, would be a bit too much for me to live with)

In Nov 2023 I got an almost new 2023 Z400 for $4500 USD. Great, fun, reliable bike to start on. No regrets.

RE Meteor 350 was my first bike… great bike to learn on but I outgrew it within a couple of months and ended up with the Honda Rebel 500 due to my restricted license here in Australia

Triumph speed 400 is an excellent option

These videos are always a joke. The only motorcycles I see consistently listed under $5k are: - Z125s - Groms - CF Motos - Over 15 years old Groms and Z125s aren't "bad", but not usually what people are looking for. You can't reliably take them on the highway. Do you really want a beater with unknown gremlins... like been sitting abandoned in somebody's garage for the last 5+ years ? ... as a starter ? It's a questionable move.

Good suggestions here I’m surprised you can get the Hondas under 5000. That is a lot of bike for the money and would be my choice

Yeah it’s a real steal for that price!

Another option, which may be pushing that $5000 limit is the Honda CB400SF. Inline 4 400cc screamer with hondas vtec. Sick bike.

Honorable mention, the cbr250rr for the mechanically minded people that want to learn how to work on their bikes as well as keep the bike possibly forever. These 250 inline 4s are sick and plenty quick.

We really to stop using the term "beginner bike" driving up the expectation that you need to move up to more power and speed. Ninja 400, best bike I ever sold.
