I’ve put a glass of water on the front room table so drinking this is the first thing I do in the morning. I’ve been learning so much from your podcasts Jim. I feel I want more and more. This morning though freezing 30f I walked out in the back barefoot. As an older woman if neighbors see me they might think I’m losing my mind but I know that I’m growing brain cells. I come from a family of addicts and I’m the only one that follow in those footsteps of addiction and pain. Thank you for confirming Alcohol and pot do not aid the brain. Since 17 years old I decided that I really like being clear headed. I usually drink water when others are drinking alcohol. The only thing I have dealt with mild seizures throughout my life and have thought about asking for a brain scan but have never been sure exactly what to ask for.Thank you for this talk. Would LOVE A BOOK!😊😊😊

I'm reading his other book "change your brain change your life" now and loving it! I think the supplementation and cutting sugar are my next steps. I suffered a small stroke at 20 ( no residual effects that I can tell) but it's really inspired me to show my brain more love ( especially now that I'm a Dr of Psych). Thank you for your great podcast!
