Steps:
1. Remove battery
2. Hold program button
3. Drop battery back in
4. Hold program button for 30 seconds
5. Here a beep let go of program button
6. Wait for lock to flash red twice
7. Re click Program button '
8. Lights flash green and red then lock re-hands

Hi mine have the latch on the right and didn’t work because when is trying to open actually close and start sounding like is stock. Do you know how to change the programing for door that open from the left side? Thank you very much for your videos

Yes, so that would be the re-handing process. It would be the same as this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6LYeIybaKaiqbM - You would pull the battery out - hold lock button - drop battery back in while holding lock button - the deadbolt will move back and forth teaching the deadbolt which way to go.

Hey Monak, I'd check these three things: Reset Lock Rehand Lock Make sure the powercord in lock is attached If all above are done I'd assume it is probably an issue with the lock. Hopefully this helps!

Please help mine won't reset!! I get to where it starts flashing red but when I press the program button the light tries green beeps and that's about it no red and green flashing lights tried handing process and off course nothing

It could be a bad lock I know this is an older brand. I am sorry I can't be more help but normally these steps work. If it is not rehanding or resetting that typically means it needs to be replaced.

Nice video but what kind of garbage system is this? Mine totally stopped turning. Doing this did nothing. Snapped the key trying to do this. One year, maybe 30 uses and the lock is totally useless. Next time avoid chinese import locks and buy a proper brand that doesn't "forget" how to work.

We have Kwikset locks on our 3 entry doors and shed. 3 of the 4 are keyless pushbutton; all we installed at the end of January 2020. The one door stopped working last week. My husband thought it was the battery, so he replaced it. Still not working, it has no power at all. What could be the problem? We have all the same style and all oil rubbed bronze handles, knobs and hinges which is now hard to come by now, so can't replace it with silver color :-/ What could it be?

It not having power, it might be the coils where the batteries go. I have also seen when drop the battery pack in scrapping off dirt off the metal parts.

So most you just push up on the block piece on the back, but I think if I remember correct the 914 you have to squeeze.

I tried to add it to my Ring alarm but when press the 1 button it didn’t turn red and unable to add to my ring alarm. How do I reset the 1 button to turn red so I can pair it with Ring alarm?

TK I would check the batteries if it is not lighting up and sometimes it takes a couple of resets as well

I would go ahead and manually rehand the lock as well after reseting to see if that resets the lock for you.
