Jerry Santos and Wally Suenaga (of Olomana fame) playing their last song at my parent's house in Waimanalo. This was a party to celebrate the life of Maryn Yee, known to us as Popo/Bak Po. It was also a surprise 70th birthday party for my mom, Ellen Yee, as well as a celebration of her and my Dad's (Warren Yee) 50th wedding anniversary.
Jerry's music made the event a perfect evening.

Before Aunty Emma passed she was referred to as a "Living Legend". Very powerful kahuna. I was blessed to have known her as my grandmother's sister. When I was still innocent and young, she came to my parents and asked to take me as her haumana. Regrettably they could not let me go. I dream today of what might have been and cry silently for the loss. I miss her terribly but know she is always with me, protector, aumakua. Thank you for the beautiful rendition. Aloha ma'opopo.

My Aunty Emma Defries. Everytime I went to visit Aunty at the palace where she worked, she always had the most sweetest plums waiting for me. Her words " bebe go to the fridge and get you a plum"

Can't jerry just shut up and sing already!!!????I live on Oahu and Olomana was one of my favorite local groups!!!!With songs like :Home,This song and Brothers got a problem are just a few of one of the most talented groups 'The other's are Cecilio and Kapono-Kalapana -Country Comfort-Olomana and The Krush :Society of 7 just to name a few !!!!!!!
