I also had legal trouble and also started having severe panic attacks. After a lot of therapy and back and forth with the attorneys I finally decided to take the weight off my own shoulders and tell the police where all the bodies were buried. Every last one of them. I haven’t had a panic attack since and now I sleep like a baby when my roomie D-Bo allows me to be bottom bitch. I gotta hide the phone now cause the Lt. is coming down the hall. Peace and love, everybody!

A year ago, my girlfriend had her first panic attack. She's always had anxiety, but this was the first panic attack. She was at work and went pale, tunnel vision, shaking uncontrollably, she lost all color in her lips, and started to hyperventilate. She said it felt like her tongue was rolling back, she was convinced it was a heart attack, or hypertension or something. She had two more within the same week, and had to quit her job. For 6 months I worked alone to pay our bills and pay for her medicine and doctors. Because of the panic attacks and her pre-existing anxiety condition, she developed agoraphobia, and the fear that she has hypoglycemia(even though she's never had issues with blood sugar). It's been a hard journey. She's no where close to being fully recovered, but she has a job, she manages her now chronic anxiety attacks, and the few panic attacks she does have she handles with grace. It's not easy, it's not fun for anyone involved, but if you have a loved one with an anxiety condition, take it seriously. You never know when their body could decide they're in danger and send that signal for adrenaline. Sorry for the novel, I just haven't really been able to talk to anyone. Edit: grammar

You can test for hypoglycemia at home. If she is hypoglycemic the result won’t be pleasant but it will save you a trip to the doctor for a simple sugar water test that would cost nothing at home, but $250 at a clinic.

Panic attacks are not caused by any singular thing. However the most common cause is a disregulation of copper metabolism. Basically, you have too much copper in your body. Why does this matter? Dopamine is converted to Adrenaline utlizing copper as a cofactor. It has been shown that when you have excess copper levels, dopamine is excessively converted to Adrenaline. Too much adrenaline causes the panic attack and in fact panic attacks would occur in ANYBODY who has excessive amounts of adrenaline suddenly dumped in their brain. The real kicker here is that copper can be released from body tissues whenever your adrenal glands are overly worked up (such as when you make adrenaline because this happens to be where its made). So you're double screwed in a high intensity situation because your body is dumping adrenaline but then the dumping of adrenaline causes a release of copper which then causes you to make way more adrenaline. End result is that you have far too much adrenaline released than you should have. How do you fix this? Low copper diet, high dose zinc supplementation (40 mg day), and high dose vitamin C (2000 mg day). Zinc competes with copper and vitamin c actively binds and clears it from the blood. i recommend starting this protocol with a fractional amount like 10 mg zinc and 500 mg vitamin c. if you do the full dose on your first time you might ironically get a panic attack because it will have too great of an effect. How do i know this works? my wife used to have debilitating panic attacks, same as kyle. used to pass out and everything. Took me awhile to figure it out but eventually i did and now she rarely if ever has panic attacks. Last tip, in case of a panic attack emergency take 1000mg of magnesium glycinate with 600 mg L-Theanine. Within 30 minutes (if you took on empty stomache) youll feel remarkably better. Again this isnt going to help everybody but it will help a great deal of you, good luck.

Copper is also necessary for making red blood cells so you should not get rid of it entirely. If you eat some beef liver occasionally you should get all the zinc and copper you need.
@FollowGod4
@FollowGod4 4 жыл бұрын
@@thevomit5851 I respectfully disagree. Some people have especially high copper levels due to reduced liver binding capacity or from environmental factors such as copper piping in their homes. Finally. Some people who know what it feels like, everyone I know who says they're having a panic attack are usually experiencing what my baseline of anxiety is. People who have never had one think that's what it is, "just" bad anxiety. They don't realize how much of a physical thing it really is. When they say they feel like they're dying it legitimately feels like you're about to black out & never wake up. They also range in intensity. I've only passed out once, it was in a public bathroom & I cut my cheek on those little drains with the bunch of tiny squares in the middle of public bathrooms. Went completely out on my feet, didn't feel my head hit the ground or anything

Never felt like i was going to pass out but i get the worst adrenaline rush x10. The one thing thats the worse is how hard your heart is beating and you always think you are going to die. I'm not sure if it was just anxiety but i can feel it building up over time and i've had them where they would last a week of my heart beating hard, can't eat more than like 300 calories a day and can't get out of bed.

Ive fell asleep at the wheel and broke my back, had 2nd and 3rd degree burns, Split half my arm open, etc, etc, and that panic attack was definitely up there with one of the worse things ive experienced. No feeling in hands and legs, tinnitus and sounds seem come from other room and like full tunnel vision greyout. I was well hydrated and all so it wasn't that. My initial blood test showed good blood pressure and oxygination. I just paniced out. Never been scared around blood before. For some reason pulling blood off me just didn't sit well after that. I'm fully fine with vaccine shots too.

I’ve gotten much better since then.

As someone whose dealt with this at length in the past. I can say that at times you can feel like there is no reall stress at all the body just goes into shock and you feel the tunnel vision and shortness of breathe coming on. I had one experience where i was driving and with no trigger i felt it coming on. Thank god the light 30 feet ahead was red. I remember the last tought i jad was to push on the brake pedal and hit the hazard lights. I woke up like a minute later and the light was still red. Had to pull over in the fast food parking lot after and have the second stage of the panic attack after i came to. Fought a panic attack off one time after cutting my finger off.(heavy fear of my own blood.) Threw up twice from the anxiety and almost blacked out from the shock. But if you try really hard you can oush through it most times once you can recognize it as a panic attack as opposed to the feeling of death coming on.

I was calling my buddy who’s no stranger to attacks and he couldn’t talk me out of it. It wasn’t long after that that my nervous system took a hit and I got really weak and shaky. I couldn’t chew food for too long because my muscles got tired really fast. If I didn’t hold my head up straight, the muscles required for supporting my head would fatigue quickly. I was convinced I had ALS. Took months for my body to recover.

I strongly recommend people who suffer from panic attacks look into mindfulness meditation. It is perfect for breaking the panic feedback loop. The key trick is that you observe what's physically happening to your body in minute detail but don't react to those changes emotionally. I've had quite severe claustrophobia issues in the past, but I find that the panic subsides almost immediately when using mindfulness.

This hits so close to home, the blacking out thing. I had an anxiety attack at work, passed out and slammed my head on the concrete in front of the whole place. Once that happens out of nowhere, you’re always waiting for it to happen again. And then it does happen again. And now you’re agoraphobic because you’re just afraid, but one day you face your fear and go out.. and then it fucking happens again. Chronic anxiety is such a snowballing type of issue. I got the sensation of what a heart attack would feel like, numbness on one side, and feeling like you're losing your mind. I suffer from really bad anxiety, and EXTREMELY severe misophonia. In high school I would have panic attacks almost daily, although i dont usually pass out from mine. I do occasionally go catatonic for a while after, the worst was around an hour I think. With my misophonia, I'm always at, or near peak anxiety whenever I leave my house. It doesn't take too much effort to get me to, or past fight or flight.

I’m on meds now to help control my anxiety but before it was bad especially because mine we at random and normally didn’t even know what was causing it. But I’d spiral down fast a lot of the time, but my reaction was to puke and normally had maybe 5-15 seconds to find a place to throw up. Was out to dinner one night and had already paid, stood up and just crashed and ended up puking in my to go bag. But thank you for sharing and putting this out there

I have had panic attacks since I was 9 got progressively worse till 18 couldn't even leave my house. im so glad I went to a really good therapist and stuck with it for years. I still get panic attacks but rare and when I have them I can lay down and kind of work my way out it without going deep and puking and freaking out. learning to feel the attack come on and just let it happen without putting feelings saved my life. for years I took Xanax or klonopin for it and in the end run it made it 100 times worse and I was super addicted to it. now no meds at all.

Sometimes there's a feedback loop. Where you are a little bit nervous and you don't know why and you try to act normal, and that very act makes it stronger, then you really try to act normal, and you don't realize that when you are trying to act normal, you are getting more and more nervous, and then people start looking at you, and the harder you try to relax, the harder you get Anxious until you just black out..

I didn't have 1 big panic attack, I had about 6 months of racing thoughts and the feeling of having somebody point a loaded gun at your chest. That's the best way I could describe it. Like you have a gun trained on you 24 hours a day. Since then I have been very sensitive to caffeine... Until I found Percocet. After my first 30mg, I could finally breath. Yeah, that became an issue.

I have extremely bad and constant anxiety (Randomly started in 2016) and ive just dealt with it as best as i could. After so long, i just became a hermit, and never did anything i didnt actually need/have to do. Finally decided to try out some medication, and they prescribed me Celexa (Citalopram) and it was a lifesaver. I will say, the side effect were fucking brutal for the first 2 weeks....Cold sweats, shakes, mind racing, dry mouth. Pretty much felt like giving yourself flu symptoms. Luckily i have amazing family and friends, who pushed me to keep taking them and not give up on it, and im so glad it stuck with it. Ive taken the medication for a month now, and can notice how im just chilled out. Not over analyzing every situation and coming up with the worst case scenario like i did a month ago. I feel like alot of people watching this video might also deal with anxiety, so i wanted to give my side. Feel free to comment back if you had any questions.

My panic attacks are more cumulative. If I don't get time to decompress something will set off an attack. It could be something as simple as forgetting to pay a bill on a hard day. One time I had a pretty abrupt panic attack when there was a warrant out for my arrest for stealing something that I know I didn't do (go figure it was apparently my responsibility if my dad with dementia starts stealing shit and and I don't notice) and didn't have any knowledge of but my natural inclination would have been to shut down or run away from whatever's causing stress but you can't run away from the police so I basically shutdown. I've never felt like I was going to faint until that attack but I think they call mine catatonic panic attacks. And a lot of people forget that it's not fight or flight it's fight, flight, or freeze.

A real panic attack feels like you are physically on the verge of death. I had them for years before I was able to identify them. I still deal with them almost on a daily bases. I dont know what my trigger is. I will wake up in the middle of an attack so it can be a struggle to maintain normalcy.
@winter2060
@winter2060 4 жыл бұрын
Your dreams probably have a trigger somewhere in them that starts to trigger an attack. Do you remember your dreams/nightmares often? If not you should start to make a diary about your dreams and find out what’s a common theme in your dreams so you can pinpoint it in real life. Dreams are all your subconscious showing your conscious what’s up or how you’re really feeling about something in particular. Might not affect you consciously but subconsciously it’s panic inducing.
@octogames6823
@octogames6823 4 жыл бұрын
@@winter2060 I gave that some thought. I will need to start a journal. I do remember the last time I woke up with an attack and I could not recall what I was dreaming about. I did make a connection between lack of sleep and frequency of my panic attacks. They are closely related. More sleep I get the less often the attacks would occur. Just an observation not a fix unfortunately.

I've had panic attacks when I was alone, pretty chilled out, derping along like normal. Nothing of interest going on, just a usual day at work and then it feels like my heart wants to explode, I can't breathe and I'm pretty sure im having a heart attack because when i put my hand on my chest, I can feel a very distinct, extremely rapid twitching inside my chest. But a heart monitor will show normal BP, normal pulse, everything is a-okay, yet it feels like my heart is racing and putting your hand on my chest feels like someone is playing double bass on my chest cavity. I can't fake muscle tremors, but no one else is able to feel them apparently. And if i take my shirt off, you can see em. tl;dr anxiety disorder, if that's what i have, is a collosal bitch.. it's not serious enough to be taken seriously, but debilitating enough that if you have it: you're the only one who'll take it seriously. ....which feeds back into the anxiety and...
