Hi Kyle, I made a knife and submitted pictures, but watching Wengel's video, he said you needed to follow everyone here on yt and on Instagram to qualify. Is this necessary?

I just want to say, Kyle, that demonstration on exactly the effects of too hard vs tempered, was so immeasurably useful. I've always wanted to see an easily digestible demonstration of the difference it makes and this truly was that. It's impressive that just a little softness, makes it so much more real world usable.

the amount of control you have with your hands is insane. I'm a relatively new maker and seeing you free-hand the plunges to shaping the handle to free-handing that final cutting edge when sharpening is jaw-dropping.

I love the 'crunch time' background music. It's too bad about missing the deadline, but I think sacrificing the deadline in favor of quality is the right call. The handle looks great, so does the blade(I love the shimmer on the maple)- great job!

It's a pleasure watching a person who REALLY knows what he's doing making knives. Do you ever sell knives like this? I realize you make super high end stuff, but as a disabled, OLD, Meat cutter, I will never own one of those knives. I held a knife in my hand for 8 hours a day, for 42 years, so I truly appreciate such quality. Thanks for making these videos. Passes my over abundance of time. Have a great day!

I did the same thing on the front of a knifes handle I did for a local historic blacksmith society auction. My buddy bought it and loves it. Inlaid the handle with leather strips. Favorite handle I've done so far . Like it even more than the keyhole bolster chefs knife I made the father in law .

I really enjoyed watching you make a "simple" build, in relatively short time. No fancy billet construction, just steel. I know, you are maticulous to the bone - a true nerd -, that is your hallmark, and I like that. But it is great to see you do "down to earth" things now and agsin, too. Still high quality. Great video, beautiful knife - at a level af "fancynes" and (presumed) affordability where it would be a joy to use on an every day level. 👍👍👍

I’m a bit of an ocd nut job but crunching numbers Kyle.. if you made 5 of these a week you could make 5000 a week!! Your abs calibur knives are just breathtaking but these edc style knives made by a master smith!! People would pay and it would possibly take some of the burden off those huge three month projects…. These would sell at a thousand dollars or more and the demand is there… even without hand rubbed finishes.. he’ll you could do a stonewash and people would buy them… there’s something about the lines of your work.. it’s instantly recognisable if you know knives. Like Bruce bump, Jerry Fisk, loveless, quesenberry… your stuff is mind blowing… you can see the attention to detail… belissimo!
