Wow, I remember her song 'The Loco-Motion' back in 1988. Recall hearing it played on the juke box in a local Pizza Hut restaurant here in the States. She was around 20 years old at the time. Honestly I might have spent the 50 cents of my own money to hear it. Can't recall clearly. My teenage hormones clouded my memories at the time. She was just...... wow. Only 2 years older then me at the time. Which looking back made her remotely "attainable". Much to my embarrassment I didn't have a chance at all. She was just so pretty and petite. Every teenage boy's dream. Much love and respect for her

It was the other way around for me: When I heard "can't get you out of my head", I knew I know the singer from somewhere; I later found it was "locomotion" from 80s.

As a kid in 2009, i couldn't believe Bruce Springsteen started in the 60s. He was 60 that year but looked like a 46 year old dad. In 2021 though, it's become more common for celebs nearing their 60s like Tom Cruise and Jon Bon Jovi to not look like your grandad due to good but still realistic plastic surgery and realistic hair implants (not sure if either of these have done the latter).

@@gars129 I wish they would leave the Botox alone though. JBJ has ruined his gorgeous face 😢 too plastic looking now. Nothing wrong with a rugged man in my book 😊
