SUMMER ROASTED PEACH CHEESECAKE (Baked in Tuscany, Italy)

Don't you just love cheesecake? You know I have a sweet tooth and adore baking and this is a classic that I thought I'd cook for a summer lunch dessert in my home in Tuscany, Italy. I prefer a baked cheesecake and peaches are in season here at the moment so I decided to roast them with cinnamon, butter and sugar. Hopefully this is an easy recipe for you to try when entertaining friends in summer. I've included a few hints for avoiding a cracked overcooked cake so you can create something creamy, light, delicious and fail-proof. I make my cheesecake with yoghurt and cream cheese. I love that you’re such an “old spirit!” You have a total appreciation of where someone or something has been. I especially enjoyed this video because my mother’s name was “ Rosalia” (the patron saint of Palermo) and my family settled in Chicago, IL and she was a fabulous baker! I have been told that I have cousins in Palermo as well! I live in the Chicagoland Illinois area and every LABOR DAY WEEKEND there is a feast in honor of *Maria SS Laurentana* which originated in Altavilia, Milicia Sicily. I have attended 44 of the 122 years that this feast has been ongoing! You can look the feast up here on You Tube.

The one thing I'm learning is that the world isn't as big as we think and we are MORE alike than different. And there are more KIND people than evil the sad thing is that we witness and see more evil. This is what I think........let more females rule the world because it would be a much more lovely world. Yummy, I too have always had an, affinity for preparing great food and making wonderful delicious desserts, everything fresh, i. e., eggs, butter, cream etc.! My Mother was , my mentor, she created a lovely home, designed clothes, fabrics from Italy, France, Switzerland, etc. I felt soo very special, wearing one of a kind! Every thing you do is like an adventure! I love your clothes, I think you make them yourself and as passionate sewer, I love that, you always look so stylish like no one else, so unique! Then your passion for ordinary everyday items like the apron....I am exactly like that, I have an apron similar to yours but with an aqua and lime pattern and I know that my mum made them sewing them by hand! I lost my mum last year and she was from Udine and spoke Friulan dialect and so every video you make makes me feel close to her. I love Italy too and one day would love to take a much needed vacation there to connect back with my mums spirit. I love the calmness and taking time to do things the old fashioned way :) my grandma is 92 and taught me how to bake and has passed on many different heirlooms to me (even more than my brother and sister) because she knows how I have always loved “old” things. My favorite book that she read to me when I was little was called “the olden days” and it was a book about the common tasks of the olden days :)
