Bravo Kylie, as a Greek I salute you. I'm a mom and housewife and have never made phyllo myself. I always buy the ready one from the supermarket which is fine but a homemade phyllo is delicious but I never have the time or patience to make it myself. Therefore I salute you, your pita is fantastic. Kudos to your grandma for teaching you.

Kylie, my mom came from Gioia Del Colle,Body, and when I was a little girl, she would pull the dandelion weeds and always be cooking greens with olive oil and garlic salt and lemon. She would always tell me if I eat these greens and vegetables that I would always have clear skin and no acne problems , and I didn’t have acne problems. Watching you make this creation, this lovely pie lovingly and old fashion style, reminds me of my mom cooking in the kitchen and watching her cook. I love that you are replicating all your recipes the old fashion way, but more importantly from your grandmother! I went through that same thing… wanting to preserve the old fashion recipes and reminders of my youth, watching my mom cook in the kitchen, just like you do!! Great cinematography as always! Painstaking details that are just gorgeous, plus you are gorgeous!

I echo the accolades of Senza Living on the painstaking passion you put into your cinematography, soundtracks and script content. It is quite exquisite. This recipe looks amazing. Although the process seems a bit daunting, I hope to try it one day. I am a huge fan of dark and bitter greens and herbs. We call the dark green kale lacinato, dinosaur or "dino" kale in the US. My Napoletana nonna would frequently cook things found in the woods behind our house in Upstate NY thought to be weeds. Dandelions overrunning our lawn were a hearty lunch. 😁😋 The stalks of a large leaf rhubarb looking plant (but not rhubarb) would be cleaned, tenderized, egged, floured and fried in olive oil. Amazing, bitter, savory and sweet all at once. Thanks for stirring some special memories of loved ones and good times, Kylie! You give our weekends such a lovely place to start. 🙏🇺🇸❤🇮🇹 Praying for ☮
