അക്ഷർധാം temple ഇന്ത്യയിലും ഉണ്ട്. ഇത് പോലെ തന്നെ വളരെ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ നിർമിച്ചത്. ഡൽഹി, Ahmedabad ഒക്കെ. ഇവിടെയൊക്കെ പോയി കണവുന്നതെ ഉള്ളൂ. വീഡിയോയിൽ പറഞ്ഞത് പോലെ ഒരു കൊട്ടാരത്തിൽ പോയ പ്രതീതി ആണ്. അമ്പലമാണ് എന്നൊന്നും തോന്നില്ല. പക്ഷേ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ photography/ videography അനുവദിക്കുന്നില്ല

Angkorwat temple in Cambodia was the largest hindu temple in the world. But Angkor Wat gradually transformed from a Hindu centre of worship to Buddhism. So you are correct. This is currently the largest Hindu temple in world.

ISCON and Swaminarayana are mainly responsible for the projection of India, her culture and architectural magnificence elsewhere and maintain them beautifully! These structures show the inherent generational talent of the artisans of India. An unsung group of artists with amazing talent that got expressed in many grandiose temples with intricate carvings in India, time immemorial!

* India have 3 major types of Temple architecture 1 Nagara (North Indian, refer Modera Sun Temple) 2 Dravida ( South Indian, refer Madura Meenakshi temple or latest built Yadadrigutta Temple ) 3 Vesara ( the mix of 1 & 2, refer Hosaleswara and Chennakeshava Temples) Apart from these 3 major we have several local architectures which are different to each other like Kerala style, Himachal style Nepali style etc, each have their own specific names. * This Akshardham New Jersey Temple uses 4 types of stones the pink ones are from Rajasthan which are used in the new parliament also the new Ram Temple is constructing on this pink stone from Rajasthan. They also used 2 types of white marbles 1 type from Italy another from India, Italian ones used inside the temple as it is pure white and dont have high durability of the slight yellow marble of the India which are used on the outer walls. There is also granite used for other small structures. The entrance build like Mysore palace is revived by the BAPS group as it was going extinct with less and less people practicing it but now it is increasing in numbers.

Shinoth, thanks for sharing the NEW BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Robbinsville, NJ. It is indeed a place worth visiting. Beautiful and well maintained. Lots of volunteers. Hope you had visited and worshiped Gurudwara Sahib, Windsor (Robbinsville) NJ, very near to BAPS and had Langar Prashad.

This looks like akshardham temple (of swami narayanan), Bangalore , India, which was built and managed by swami narayanan trust. However this one seems to be much more enormous and elegant.

Exhibition of ancient original Indian culture , sculptures and arts which are unique , will earn respect from educated US citizens. Indian temples are always designed and meant for meditation- to calm down mind , strengthen mind, achieve mental happiness- and NOT for mass prayer or speeches or laud music that will disturb calmness of mind and concentration of mind for meditation. While coming to the temples, body and mind should be clean and positive so that positivity and cleanliness will be spread to all , and gradually to the whole world. K
