This is beautiful! It is so good to hear Cedric Smith's voice narrating. Uncle Alec, Aunt Hetty, Sara Stanley, Matthew, Marila, Anne and the rest! So many wonderful characters! They became family to me and my children. I shall never forget the first time I read Anne of Green Gables back during the late eighties. I will also never forget Sullivan's production of both Anne and then Road to Avonlea: watching them all at least 100 times!

it's a Geat Series, But the Sad thing is when i did some research on it. Most of it was Filmed in Ontario NOT P.E.I that was just a dumb move. when we visited PEI & went to "the House" 2014 i could tell it wasn't the Original House.

@@Dawn-Songs yeah I know, But when me & my Wife ( From PEI ) found out we didn't like it either. The producers / company of the series Both Avonlea & Green Gables Should have just Filmed on the island. we are going top PEI this Summer, our 3rd time there

I was recently told about Anne of Green Gables by a close friend. I understand why she loved the books and the series. This is a great book and set back in time. So wholesome and inspiring. Something you never see these day. Love it ❤️
