LA 갈비 - LA Galbi (Korean BBQ Short Ribs)

Hello everyone,
Today I will be making LA Galbi, a sweet and salty BBQ short rib. This dish is a crowd favorite and will keep everyone coming back for more! I hope you enjoy.
1:24 Ingredients
1:31 Wash and soak the meat
3:05 Add sugar to the meat and let rest
3:50 Prep veggies for the marinade
4:02 Vitamix advertisement
4:55 Add the sauce ingredients to the marinade
6:03 Add the marinade to the meat and leave overnight or a few hours
7:36 Add sesame oil
8:08 Grill!
8:25 Cut up some veggies that you would like to grill with the Galbi! (I used onions, mushrooms and made some skewers!)
9:17 Plating time!
9:53 Time to eat!!

My omma was from Busan and she used to give our local butcher fits about how meat is cut in America. I fondly remember her freezing the beef for bulgogi and cutting it wafer thin using her brute strength. Gailbi was one of our favorites growing up, I remember nit being able to get enough of it, and omma telling me she thinks I'm not gonna get anything else out of that poor rib after sucking on the bones...

Very good and easy to follow directions! Thank you! Tried this recipe and it turned out VERY delicious! The first few ribs I tried to use my George Forman grill but it didn’t get that charred-taste like my iron skillet.
