Bekowsky really was the best partner. I love that he was genuinely happy for Cole when he got promoted at the end. He didn’t seem at all jealous or disgruntled.

Yeah and he's based as fuck. There's a DLC case about a stolen car racket where Bekowsky goes off on Phelps about giving breaks to certain people because, "their daddy plays golf with your daddy." Stefan B is a real G.

I like Bekowsy and Biggs from Arson the most. He is actually the narrator from the patrol cases. I guess the story is being told by Biggs and that is the point of it.

That’s what was so good about their chemistry. It was the ultimate good cop bad cop duo. Cole was the more calm of the two while Bekowski was more confrontational

He was referring to how Bekowsky interacts with senior officers/those higher up the chain of command. As soon as Roy was at the props house Stef was ready to back off of Hopgood. To be fair, he was right that there was nothing that they could do, but he hardly had any fight whatsoever.

Pretty sure this technology is what most CGI teams base their facial capture software on. LA Noire deserved a sequel, but its legacy survives.

During the game's development, "Doubt" was gonna be where Cole simply antagonized the Suspect until they gave up the info. You could've also beat the crap out of them for a confession, but playtesters abused it so it got reworked to the *_Triggered_* Cole Phelps we all know and love today. This Good Cop/Bad Cop/Accuse selection is just them revisiting this idea.

Fireboy really, didn’t know that. But I like the old system, maybe that’s a bit of nostalgia in me. But “doubt” makes sense in my mind, because having doubts is not a bad thing or being a “bad cop” it’s simply just a way of trying to get to the truth.

In my playthrough I didn’t get to fight the goons at the apartment. I thought I got to the apartment fast enough but I didn’t. I’ll have to replay it and unlock a new outfit by dodging 20 punches in a row.

36:14 In my game ( Remastered XB1) Cole didn't raise his voice at all but said it very menacingly and in a low tone of voice he calmly threatened to break his fuckin jaw. It sounded more like a promise than out of rage, honestly badass. Apparently the line was different because I was unable to get Jessica to confess, but ironically my failure got Cole to sound even more sincere in his threat.

A little bit of history, Guy McAffee was a real person he was the leader of the vice squad in the 30s he moved to Vegas and founded several casino's he is credited with coining the term Vegas Strip. He was a gangster like portrayed here. He was married to an actress name June Brewster however they divorced in 1941.
