About The Game: L.A. Noire is a neo-noir detective action-adventure video game developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 May 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and on 8 November 2011 for Microsoft Windows; a re-release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is scheduled for 14 November 2017. L.A. Noire is set in Los Angeles in 1947 and challenges the player, controlling a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer, to solve a range of cases across five divisions. Players must investigate crime scenes for clues, follow up leads, and interrogate suspects, and the player's success at these activities will impact how much of each case's story is revealed.

I love LA Noire. It's not a perfect "video game", but it's a wonderful cinematic experience. Great story, characters and atmosphere. It's really fun to explore 1940s Los Angeles and find all of the official and unofficial landmarks. Especially with it's soundtrack. LA Noire is one of my favorites. I really enjoyed this video.

I laughed my ass off when I saw that the "Super Beard Bros"; a franchise that is has constructed its brand around not shaving were sponsored by the Dollar Shave Club. A business that has constructed its brand on the idea that you shave so often you should get cheaper razors sent to you frequently enough to warrant a subscription service. I shave, I love the Beard Bros, I play games and loved LA Noire and the fact that this sponsorship is so clearly the wrong spokesperson is what makes it so funny. The video of the Bros with a razor and fake shaving over their massive beards was just goddamn hilarious.

The acting in the opening was phenomenal. Not to blow smoke, but Brett in particular killed me. His dialogue chops at 5:18, dude, I love that man so much. All you guys have talents beyond what the channel usually shows off. I want more of these types of bits in The Completionist. Love you guys.

Usually, I'm not a fan of sponsor segments in videos. I would usually skip them. But the dollar shave club segment was really well done and creative. They used the theme of the game very well. Great job on the video.

I actually didn't see his death coming at all - it shocked me. I think ending his life so anticlimactically only served to enhance its impact, at least for me.

I enjoyed it for a couple of reasons, the main character you play as is pretty easy to dislike, but not hate. It was kinda nice to see him go out on a high note, but the result ended up in a "business as usual" kinda thing, with stuff getting swept under the rug. Gave it a bitter sweet feel I wasn't really expecting, also, with the game being on the shorter side I think the sourish ending is ok because it didn't leave me feeling ripped off. Where as if I had spent 150 hours on something and then *pop* all for nothing, it might have pissed me off.....did I make any sense? Its been awhile since I played and I haven't got to the video yet.

Well...frankly, Australian/NZ names have very different readings/spellings to American names. I was quite surprised when I first arrived and started seeing the local spelling of familiar names, or really strange names of streets and districts.

I think it's dependant on the developer, not the publisher. I mean Sonic Team/Big Red Button wanted their respective Sonic game to be good, but Sega rushed it. In Digital Homocide game they wanted a shitty game. So I think all Shovel ware is in hell, because the devs didn't try to make a good game. True, they might have tried, but you don't put effort in a shovel ware...? This game theology problem is kinda hard...
