Doomies is the best VFC I've had (and I've had alot). Using the tofu skin as skin and fat definitely elevates it, and yeah definitely not healthy, but its fun treat.

Been to doomies Mexican. Must try the chicken with the mac n cheez. Been to Hart house 3 times. Great staff. Need to checkout the truck. Have you been to Montes Burgers yet? So good.

Maybe Doomies has been at that location since 2010, but Doomie was vending vegan tacos at the first Absolute Body Control show in the USA that I drove down to attend in 2008. Pretty sure I enjoyed vegan Doomie's food at Das Bunker at The Catch One on occasion even earlier than that. I haven't actually been to the current Doomie's location aside from a slice of cake, but have dined at NextMex a couple of times. I want to check out the other two spots you mentioned, especially Hart House has had other good reviews. Admittedly, having worked as a chef at Donut Farm and making more vegan chik 'n waffles and such than I can remember, I tend to veer more towards healthier non-deep fried fare in my own culinary choices these days; but every now and then it is nice to indulge in some stick to your ribs comfort food.

Im good, i had vegan fried chicken before. Tasted disgusting, they even have vegan fried tofu. Couldn't get me to eat that at all
