The italian man is talking about the shoes:” if you press it (the shoe) against a cliff wall…” then Adam interrupts him and says: they’re very flexible! Adam: To me, the perfect shoe is the one I feel comfy in. Every now and then I tried some quite different shoes. I tried these ones called “squama” and I think I’ll be using them during my upcoming competitions because I truly like them. At the beginning, I could only climb with quite hard shoes and just during the time I got used to the softer ones and understood that both for the cliff and indoor walls, you’d better have the softer ones especially because I don’t need to be that precise and I can work and move faster with my feet.
