Labour ordered our new carriers as Catobar and then the Tories came back and downgraded them to STOVL which says it all because it’s cheaper to put a ski jump on them than a steam catapult system that the UK actually invented. Plus the Tory government sold the Harrier jump jet off to the USA which says it all that they cut our military and industry

This is just disinformation. Labour reduced the Frigate programme by 50% which is why the Navy is light. The Harrier was not sold off. The benefit system and the NHS now prevent us from spending more on defence.

Labour didn’t close our shipyards down including jobs and much more industry down due to privatisation and the Harrier 2 AV versions were US made because the Tory government sold it off to them. The NHS is in a mess today because this useless government has allowed us to be invaded by migrants that have come here for our NHS & benefits systems but some of these migrants are actually terrorists from Afghanistan also this government wants them for cheap labour and that’s why our shipyards are full of foreigners. As an American I feel both the British and the Germans feel the US will come to their rescue. With the Russian aggression since 2014 they should have increased their defense budgets to 5% GDP. NATO has failed to meet it’s obligations . How easy is it for countries like Germany to have the top economy in Europe when the US foots the bill for defending them.
