I would use the really light ones that you don't have good luck with, put them on very bottom so the paper doesn't pick up whatever pattern of the table or pan or drop cloth on the table. With the Wright of the rest of the papers on top, they might transfer a little bit of design for the bottom ❤

I’m noticing how long ago this was…😊 anyway…I work with varying weights of papers, this fixes the wrinkled covering material everything time. At first I used hot cloths - swiping smooth with cloth after I allowed them to lay over table cover. Then I discovered my steamer did the trick far more efficiently! You have to find your range…not too close. Once again, smooth out afterwards. I did read other comments, someone else likely minded already shared this hint.

I use a turkey baster to add dye. So easy to suck it up and put it down with a gush or a dribble. I got one at a yard sale for a quarter and have dedicated it to my crafting projects. But since coffee or tea dye is food-safe, you could use your Thanksgiving one! *wink*

Thank you do much for this tutorial. Your paper is beautiful. I'd put your "seconds" sheet in your shop at a discount, because they have so many uses, like backings on tags, and you can even print on them. I can't write in a straight line to save my life, so I made a template of double spaced lines for the papers I use to journal, and can change the color depending on the pattern. You also could probably print an image and keep.they pattern on the page, just make it print at like 60 to 70 % less saturation. I have a Microsoft computer so Apple I'm sure has the same or better. You also could use your seconds to create envelopes. Your work is lovely. Again, thanks so much. I ordered a plastic tablecloth from Amazon, to do this. Which is probably why your video populated, and they're supposed to deliver today. Best regards, Patricia

I just watched a stencilling video and the i structor said because of her astigmatism she couldn't draw a straight line. I have the same problem even though I wear glasses. I cannot even write a list of numbers when I play cards----they veer to the left. Now I know why I have so much trouble doing a straight line. Maybe a lot of people with astigmatism have the same issue.

Hi, there. I just had this idea while watching you show your placemats. For the ones that won't work well because they are so 'holey' and light, could you try spraying a tacky adhesive like easy tack on the back? Let it dry and it should stick fairly well yet pull up easily without damaging the paper. Just a thought. Out of curiosity, as I find the 'hollow' or holes through to back placemats available, have you ever tried polyester doilies? There are some pretty ones but I have no idea if they would work. Also, I wonder if spraying real crocheted items with several coats of clear sealant (Krylon Crystal Clear, for example) they would work? I guess I should just try it, right? Thanks for the great video and the inspiration.
@ideastimestwo352210 ай бұрын
You're so sweet! I like the idea of spray adhesive...I'll have to try it! Not sure about the stiffener on crochet doilies because the image will only be clear and precise from having a totally flat surface on the paper. It's always worth experimenting though!

Hi take your plastic tablecloth and throw it in the dryer and as soon as it gets warm pull it out and lay it flat quick works well with 2 people
@morningdewgarden74323 жыл бұрын
Tape the plastic to the table so the wrinkles can be smoothed or pulled out and it won't move again while you're working. Maybe a spray bottle from the Dollar store would be a great way to get the first initial layer of coffee on the doily.
@brandythompson65443 жыл бұрын
On the folded placemat-- have you tried just pressure- like heavy books- leave it for maybe a week? It may take the fold right now-- it obviously is like that because it was maybe new old stock or stored that way-- so it would make sense pressure is the way to take it out... I wish you luck- weird that it wouldn't just come out with heat since it is plastic.
