I love how the design and mechanisms are basically the same as much smaller lamps of the same era. It's almost like someone said "if we make these wicks like 200% bigger and triple the number of them you could totally cook food on this"
I love how you don't overdo the restorations. You restore them in a way that makes them look like it has history and purpose. I also love the way you preserve the items as if they've just been made fresh from the forge. Keep up the good work LADB!

No action from the kitty assistant? Is Avril ok? Is there a Cruela like criminal hunting for some high quality orange fluffy fur? Well, my crazy imagination aside, I hope your feline buddy is doing fine. Thanks for the video! Awesome work as always! May God bless you!

Nice restore and save! Love the old school, flour vinegar salt part and torch weld. Didn't know T-Fal made a crepe pan! Personal favorite is Blueberry (Dalfour Wild Blueberry) preserves and creme cheese (I Know..I'm American 😋). Thanks for all the wonderful videos! Only 170K to go!

The base polished up beautifully! I love it when objects like this are restored to a functional state. It’s really satisfying to see a sad-looking, rusty tool become useful again. Those crepes look tasty, too! I like mine with butter, sugar and lemon juice.

I think lamp oil would have been a better choice than alcohol, but it seems to work just fine. It is advisable to wait until the wicks are really well soaked before lighting, then not so much of the wick would be burned.
