The suspension valving is actually the same, I've revalved a bunch of these bikes, just softer springs on the rx.

Really? So I could swap the 4.8 fork springs to the 4.6 and I'd be much more comfortable? Im a 46 year old Vet C rider 160 pounds

You would be a little more comfortable. But you definitely need a revalve to get the most amount of comfort.
