@@Am71919 not true at all. They were very well known in R&B. They had a number of big hits. Their album, “Wild and Peaceful” put them on the map with groups like EWF, and the Commodores. Hits like Hollywood Swinging, Funky Stuff, Jungle Boogie, Summer Madness, Spirit of the Boogie, Jungle Jazz…..which were all big in R&B. But it is true that they didn’t have the continuous crossover appeal until the emergence of JT.
