I've had the same problem! With or without layering I always have some braid shed, so I just try to use pommade or small open pins to just tuck any pieces sticking out, down. Wish I had better advice, I know its so frustrating!

this is brilliant. it actually messes with my brain just looking at it. btw, i usually cut my hair bluntly across, because i cannot function with layers. but then when i braid, the hair is all uneven and sticks out in chunks. any advice?

WOW ... I feel like I could really do this but my hair is pretty curly and it gets all tangled up , if I straighten it then it won´t hold so I have to always have second day , braided over night hair to try out new braids . I´ve tried one of your styles with a little twist ( I have a side shaved so it wouldn´t turn out symetric ) and it was successful! I find your tutorials are the least confusing of all I´ve seen so far . You seem so kind and patient i sometimes watch these just to loosen myself up even if I´m not going to braid it myself !
