As soon as that mob had turned up I think I would have loaded the car back up and left. This is one of the reasons I wouldn't camp on a camp site. Wild camping is the best way. Out in the wilderness with peace and quiet. This is why I go wild camping, to get away from people 👍

Pity the youngsters next door weren't respectful to the fellow campers. I always try to find adult only campsites. Glad you managed to get out for that peaceful hike. Looked a nice walk even though it was a bit muddy under foot. Enjoyed your adventure. Thanks for sharing it.

The first crop you asked about is Field Beans, just like Broad Beans but better grown on a large scale. Pity about the ar$ehole neighbours but I'm glad you had a good walk. Cheers!

Ox tail was on the menu. Not tried that before. An hour or so on the heat was not enough. Learning point for me lol 👍
