Today, we’re discussing bilingual and monolingual English dictionaries. Is there a serious reason to switch from translation to English-English dictionaries? I believe (and science agrees with me!) that there is. Quite a few of them. I’m also going to share a few tips to help you stop translating from English into your native language and back all the time to speed up your learning. Boost your vocabulary and learn to speak and write in English fluently while improving English through English.

It's great to watch your new video😊 Thanks to your encouragement, I try to learn new vocabulary in English translating it in monolingual dictionaries, but if I'm still not sure what a word means I find translation in my native dictionary then I compare both options together 😊

I use both of them, but mostly the monolingual dictionary since most of the time I can think of an equivalent word in my native language. Also, monolingual dictionaries use a base vocabulary of at least 2000 words, depending on the dictionary. At a minimum, I think, someone need to be working at B1 level to be able to use one comfortably. I like that you always touch the topic of dictionaries, since I really like them.
