Rutger Hauer is still my idol. I don't think I've ever seen a more heart wrenching scene than in Blade Runner. "I have seen things you people wouldn't believe!.....". Though the scene from Ladyhawke were he can almost touch Isabeau a fraction of a second before she turned into a Hawke again. Rutger's scream when he failed, came from the depth of his soul! There was a lot of sniffing and sobbing in the theater after that scene. Including mine 🥵😎👍🏻😁😊😊

"You would not believe what I have seen with your eyes" "I've seen things, you people wouldn't believe, hmmm. ... attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments, will be lost in time like tears in rain..." ["... Wake up, time to die ..."]

In "Ladyhawke," Captain Navarre, played by Rutger Hauer, says, "A day without a night and a night without a day. Only the night and the day are as one - no sun, no moon." This line reflects the curse placed on Navarre and Lady Isabeau, condemning them to never be together. The prophecy suggests that a moment of perfect harmony, where day and night coincide, holds the key to breaking the curse and achieving freedom from the Bishop's malevolent magic.
