The best thing we did was buy a 60 gallon water bladder and a copy of our 12 volt fresh water pump on the boat. You can fill the bag full right in the dinghy and then pump it directly into the tanks from the dinghy when you get back to the boat. The pump serves as our backup if the regular fresh water pump were to fail - it's a direct swap.

That was great. I'm so jealous of how you live your lives. Good on ya! I really enjoy your videos! I travel to the Caribbean two or three times a year. I will be watching for your boat. If I show up with a gang of rum and a bunch of Kalik, I hope that you will welcome me!

Been following you since the beginning! You know what I'd be interested in seeing? The "how to" of customs / immigration in different countries. What paperwork do you need? What do you need checking in and out? How long can you stay for? That type of thing. Thanks for doing this, I'm diggin' the new segment... Stay Safe!

You gave a great voice for voice-overs and radio. Nice video. How bad does the boats interior suffer with a wet bath situation?

Incredible video - extremely educational. You talked about the water for shower and head...just wondering how you manage waste...do you have a holding tank that another boat pumps you out or what do you do with "black" water? Thanks and great videos!

Hey thanks. We actually switched to a composting head so we don’t have any black water fortunately.

Price comparative to location right. Case in point I’m in a small rural town an hour outside of Las Vegas Nevada and I hail water up to my property. Cost? 25cents for just a little over 25 gallons Yep for a buck I get over 100 gallons of water. Of course it’s well water not that special RO water either mind you

Get yourself a watermaker, you will wonder why you did so long without one. Having one is life changing amd opens up some remote cruising grounds. In the pacific 2013 we did not see rain for four months and made watet for an island village to help them til the barge arrived.

Great video Tim. RO water is handy...but not the best for you to drink all the time. It's refereed to as dead water......As stated, so-called dead water lacks energetics - trace minerals - as a consequence of the ostensibly advantageous filtration process. Without these desirable minerals, the water is left slightly acidic, typically in the range of 6.0 to 6.75 on the pH scale (although it can be even lower). One suspects that reverse osmosis water would be less popular if it were advertised as demineralised acidic water, rather than clean, contaminant-free H20! It’s all about perspective. The benefits of magnesium-rich, high-calcium water have been extolled by as impartial a source as the World Health Organisation, who published a lengthy report on the health risks associated with regularly drinking demineralised water. The WHO cited Czech and Slovak populations who used home RO systems as showing “signs of acute magnesium (and possibly calcium) deficiency” as well as “cardiovascular disorders, tiredness, weakness or muscular cramps.” Plentiful minerals imbue water with its necessary life energy, making the terminology of “dead water vs living water” rather apt. Pure living water is the type that is free of impurities while rich in minerals. Clean-tasting filtered water that goes beyond hydrating and both mineralises and alkalises the body. You might do well to take supplements with it...............www.water-for-health.co.uk/our-blog/2017/06/reverse-osmosis-water-pure-dead-water/
