Hey thanks for watching! I have a Tascam DR-07X handheld recording microphone, but the real secret is recording in the right place. I do all my voiceover recordings sitting in our minivan because there's no echo and it comes out really clean.

The truth is, the state of Chiapas in terms of ecotourism places is the most beautiful in all of Mexico, like Chiapas in Mexico there are not two, since Chiapas has jungle, forest, bushes, cold, temperate, hot, coast, rivers, etc.

Precisely a year ago a fight for territory began between drug cartels in that area. So now it is not recommended to go there. since an disappeared and murdered thousands of people. I was born an hour from there, and it is an incredible place. Too bad all this is happening now.

Dangerous place, do not go there, it has been taken by crime, all travel agencies have cancelled tours to this place.

You are correct. Right now Chiapas is not as safe as it used to be. It isn't safe to go to Lagos de Colon because a cartel has taken over the town of Chamic which you have to pass through to get there. Several people have gone missing. It is unfortunate because Chiapas has not dealt with cartel activity in the past. This is a development in the past couple years.
