Impressive work John. That is inspiring stuff. We all need to do strength work, especially as we get older. I dodged it all my life until about 18mths agi, but I'm doing light weights LIIT stuff, which a weak baby kitten could do! Another awesome video 👍💪💪

Waffle away John. I appreciate the views too from the untethered training runs in the fjells (Norwegian). Cheers from Norway. 🇳🇴

Thanks David. Norway is an awesome place. However, I’ve not done much running in the fjells, I’d love to though 🤘🏻

Seconded on the sandbag. Absolutely honking bit of kit. As an aside, enjoying the training videos just as much as the usual servings!

I didn't realise you were a gym god as well as a fell god John😀 Good vid tho. I try to get to the gym a couple of times but seem to build upper body muscle quite easily so it's a trade off for me between overall fitness and carrying too much weight when I'm out running.

Ha thanks Richard. However, don’t be saying things like that my ego might start enjoying it! 🙂 yeah I’d say I’m a chunkier fell runner, I’ll never be Ibex swift.. I’m happy with being a relentless donkey 😉

That's a decent set of exercises there, in a well equipped gym. I would 100% be clonking myself on the knee with that kettle bell 😂 Do you ever swap which hand goes highest on the handle when doing the mace swings? Not sure it makes much difference. They look cool though!

I do mate, I swap hand position and direction so every set hits all parts equally.. they are cool, they make you feel like a savage 😉
