Lake District Ultimate Guide 2024 Windermere | Bowness on Windermere

Join me in The Lake District, where I will take you on a virtual tour starting at Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England. You can take on the the Boat Tours located here or hire an Electric Self-Drive boat.
Here you can also get a bus to all the main towns at a cost of £2 per person per journey, saves paying for parking.
I will take you to a little gem (Dan's Shack), this outside cafe has a lot of Robin Red Breasts, watch the close up of the Robin Redbreast eating my toastie lol
I will show you the only free public toilets located here.
You can go across Lake windermere from Ferry Nab in Bowness to Far Sawrey by car, bicycle and foot, prices start from £1.10. We will see the eight baby Geese 🥰
We take a look around the Town Centre, I will show you a few Bar's|Pubs, The Hole in t' Wall, which is the oldest pub in Bowness, The Garden Bar, Baha, the Albert, The Angel Inn. Lot's of unique shop's cafe's Restaurants. The Beatrix potter museum and shop.

There is no such lake as Lake Windermere. It's simply called Windermere, after the similarly named town.....
