Lake Oesa Day Hike from Lake O'Hara

Lake Oesa is a body of water located at an elevation of 2,267 metres (7,438 ft) in the mountains of Yoho National Park, near Field, British Columbia, Canada. The lake gets its name from the term for 'corner' in the Stoney language of the Indigenous people of the area. It can be reached via a 3.2 kilometre (2 mile) climbing trail which starts at Lake O'Hara and ascends approximately 250 metres (820 ft).

Honeymooned at Lake O'Hara in 1973. Spent four days at the Lodge, absolutely breathtaking area. My wife visited with the in- residence trailblazer Lawrence Grassi, highlighted in your video, fascinating gentleman (the stories he relayed). Returned in late June 1975, again enthralled. And as you observed, plenty of ice on the trails with mosquitoes hatching in the snow.

We were in the rain and travelling slow and did it in three hours
