LFG..I look so forward to your videos here and on Lake Life...the highlight of the week for me! Regardless of what's in the content, they are all first class and very enjoyable! I will say though, that these "series" that you have done...like "Unthawed" and your "New Zealand" trips are NEXT LEVEL QUALITY!! I've not done a lot of hunting, so I can't quite...taste the action like I can on the fishing ones, but your NZ footage captured the grueling treks up and down the Mountain as well as the apprehension/caution'worry about the rough terrain...and the pure, absolute JOY when you bagged your trophies. You made us all feel like we were RIGHT there living it with you. That, combined with the majesty and supreme beauty of NZ took my breath away...and for the scenic scope of that series I will give that New Zealand trip the edge. But, I'm a fisherman to my very soul! Been fishing 42 of my 45 years. I'm from MN so I ALSO love the drone shots you included of the beauty of "the Great North" in this series. I also really enjoy seeing you and Matt hanging out and fishing together. I love the entire squad, but your videos are a bit more serious and informative and absolutely my "cup of tea". I think I've heard you call yourselves team nursing home, which is hilarious; but with that comes a level of maturity and education that maybe isn't always present on some other channels. I hope you guys DO make it an annual tradition to venture up to our neck of the woods. Jeremy is a great stick as well and seems like an awesome guy to share a boat with. Everyone is plugging their own hot-spots for you to try out..so pardon me a moment while I put mine in for My home state as well. Mille Lacs Lake, north of the Twin Cities, has become an absolute Gold Mine. There are countless nice largemouth in that 3-5 range with 6's not uncommon...but let's face it...you get that at home. The real beauty of that lake is that it's FULL of Giant Smallmouth...4's & 5's all day with plenty of 6's and some 7's. It's a world class Walleye factory with many fish in the 8-10lb range. It's a mecca for Jumbo Perch in the 10-15" range. She's loaded with 20lb+ Northern Pike and it's one of the top 5 lakes in MN to get 50"+ Muskies. I know there are a million lakes and everyone has hot-spots to suggest...but if you guys ever have some time...look into Mille Lacs. You Wont be disappointed! God Bless, and Keep Fish'n!! :)

Love, love, LOVE ... all your series, but the humbleness of LFG, MK and Mr. Bass Mafia is a GREAT Combo. Love the interaction and the razzing you guys have together? MK doesn’t like those Lake Michigan Rollers though! You guys need to make a trip over to Northern MN around Leech, Pokegama, and Winnie for the Walleye and Perch, maybe do a little Muskie Fishing to on Deer Lake .... just awesome fun and beautiful part of the Country. I’m from Missouri, but was up there working a construction project for a year and thoroughly enjoyed the fishing (hard and open waters), along with the nice Minnesota People in the Northern areas. Great places to stay and so many places to fish!!! Hit me up for some contacts up that way if you’d like.

On all suckers and northern pike in Mo. we scale the fish, then fillet them. Laying the fillets skin down you make slices 1/ 8 to 1/4 inch apart to the skin. (this is called scoring) Scoring causes the fillets to curl when fried thus making the many bones crispy. Learn this process and open your livewell to many bony and delicious fish in the future. I have learned many things from watching your videos. Just glad to attempt to repay. P.S. I am a retired teacher lol I should have waited until the end of video before giving my two cents worth of knowledge. I see you did score them.... remember scoring works great on northern pike also.
