Lake Street Dive - “The Sign” (Ace of Base cover)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! When it occurred to us to be Ace of Base for Halloween this year there was a collective sense of "DUH! How have we not already done that?!" This song is a total jam and 90s fashion is SO FUN. The only problem to solve was what to do with our fifth band member since there are only four members in Ace of Base. Mike had the ingenious idea that he would dress up as the titular "Sign" and he went to the craft store and handmade his costume. BEST COSTUME AWARD GOES TO MIKE.
Thanks to our amazing crew for helping us get this together! Halloween is the best holiday, why does it only happen once a year?!!

This was amazing. Yall even added harmony notes where there weren't as many or any in the original recording which sound great in this version. This is like a group of parents who decided to randomly put a band together to perform like this but turned out they are really way more talented than a common jam group that gets together at one of their houses. That's what this makes me think of and it's a huge compliment because yall did a great job with this. Even brought the key down a little to make singing more comfortable for the ladies and looks like yall were having a lot of fun doing it too. My compliments for sure!
