Do you have really smooth roads there ? I can't get that level of image stabilisation even on the smoothest tarmac in my country :)) Cheers !

Very cool video. I'm going to do a trainer ride to that and see how bad you guys beat me. :-) That's a super cycling route! We have some fairly new "multi-purpose" paths here, but the foundations weren't properly prepared and putting that kind of speed on them would jar your teeth out. Plus other path users would never expect anyone coming along like that and I would have a wreck everyday.

I have some rides on my channel you can do the same too. I made them especially for the purpose of people on bikes at home.

Raving Cyclist Thanks mate. Thats why I made them :) To stem the boredom and monotony, also for people who are a bit too afraid of getting outside due to being overweight or nervous etc.

I am with Wayne Watt, is it possible to have this converted to a Fulgaz or some other virtual trainer video, being a loop, it would be good for laps or just as a good ride to do on the indoor trainer...

Since you have recently been on a plane with a bike, how about a "bike box vs bike bag vs anything else such as Simon Schofields bike in a suitcase idea" for the best way to take your bike on a plane??

The video shows a quick circuit around the north and south sides of the Swan River between Perth and Fremantle. For those cyclists not in such a hurry, there are long sections of suburban road traversed by the camera for which there is a dedicated cycle / pedestrian path which may be chosen instead. The section from Mosman Bay (20Km) through Stirling Bridge (23Km) to Canning Bridge (38Km) has a dedicated path close to the river shore except for a few hundred metres. These are the most scenic parts of the route with numbers of black swans and pelicans.

Cycle paths are not made for cycle training they are made for pottering along just above walking speed & drivers wonder why we ride on the roads.

@gplama7 жыл бұрын
What's more interesting is that you're concerned enough to spend time asking the question. It's there if people want to watch it. The alternative was not to upload anything. Then people don't have the choice. If this content doesn't match your expectations, no worries, tomorrow I'm sure to be back inside talking about other tech.

Yep just did, watched the lot. Forgotten how good a ride that is around the rivers in Perth. Sitting in Abu Dhabi at present 46 degrees, cant wait to be back in Perth to ride in September.
