i would have left it at just 1 patty of that size. looks better and is more then needed to fill one up
@walkernick865 жыл бұрын
Agreed! It looked amazing but Jesus! 1 patty would easily have been enough. These burgers are turning into skyscrapers!

It looks absolutely incredible! I love everything you put into it, and especially that you seasoned the lamb with anchovies! My one gripe would be the double patty. When you've made them that thick and juicy, you only need one! I would pay £8 for a single patty burger.

It looks like an awesome burger, and in the right setting, it's definitely worth the £15-16, say, at an actual indoor restuarant, preferably with a side or two of something rustic. At market stalls, though I feel it'd struggle to find a market, but, suppose this is Borough Market, I would probably pay close to a tenner for the burger on its own.

What's with this trend of doing burgers that don't fit a human mouth?
@MrGeorgeBleau7 жыл бұрын
I made the same comment on the FB post. Nobody can fit all that in their mouth, John!

Just asking myself this question. I love meat, but double burgers... seems to me it's a little bit of an overkill. I would pay 6-7 pounds for a single though.

John, the only thing I've noticed was that you need to get a boom mic installed in the sitting area of your kitchen top. The audio would be much better and you would be able to mix it with the one coming from your lapel mic.

@MaxMustermann-go8xf7 жыл бұрын

7 жыл бұрын
The countryside is indeed, but the cities.... I've been there in 2008 for the first time, it was half a shock that time, now I was in Luton 2 months ago and it was the biggest shock for me. We were trying to find a real english pub to grab a beer before our flight and I asked a taxi driver where we can find one. The reply: "Haha, good luck with that. Can you see any english people around here? No! Well that's your luck finding an english pub!"
@andersonb067 жыл бұрын
Lol just don't go to Luton, it's well known for not being a nice city in the UK. Plenty of nice places to go.

deconstruct it and put it in a pita - makes for a more practical sandwich. Loose meat seasoned instead of burger, pita pocket. Great combination of flavors in this video though.

Freezing an implement of that size would not matter, within a couple seconds the device would have been at the same temperature due to friction. Thus there is no color difference because of the freezing, if that (long) part of the video is a lie, what about the rest?
