Lamb is common in Cal but doesn't usually get taller than 20 feet! Good choice!

Lamb Hass is named after the best of 1000 seedlings grown on Mr Lambs Ranch in California quite a few years ago maybe in 80s = is Semi Dwarf - mines topped out at 4mt is 9yo and has 350g fruit every 2nd year - now grafted Noela x 2 to it and will do Choquette & Gwen in time - great for a smaller garden but late fruit from now to late january eating. Peat moss isgood to add qs PH of 5.5 is excellent for Avos

@@frasercoastfoodforest3092 Thanks - forgot to mention i as im on clayish below 200ml i develop where im planting with gypsum and some peat compost then i put pot on surface then build a mound from that in a few weeks with pine bark - mulch and potting mix and finish top 50mm with pine bark and some peat moss as well in everything maybe 5% Mound is maybe 350mm all up but sinks then i yearly build it up with grass clipping and mulch.

Hey mate, love the collection! Just wondering how big the lamb hass will get in that pot? I just got one and wondering whether to just stick it in a 120L pot for life. Thoughts?

hi mate. it will only stay in the pot for 2 years then in the ground. it grows to about 5 meters but you can prune it down to 2 meters.

Nice video mate. what potting mix did you use from Bunnings? Did you mix with perlite or sand too? I got a lamb hass and wurtz from Daleys and waiting to go in a pot.

I don't add anything to my potting mix, just make sure its premium or better. And thanks for watching.

hi mate, i also bought one dwarf pinkerton avo from daleys, almost similar in height to your lamb hass, just wanna know how big a pot to put it in and whats the best potting mix for this one, nice video and right timing for me thanks

Don't go to big in the pot. Around 20 to 25 litres. And use only premium potting mix. 1 bag of potting mix is about the size of the pot
