They often write lyrics speaking generally about the absolute bullshit government(s) are responsible for, and crimes against their own citizens and world events in general. Historically speaking (worldwide), governments have been responsible for more deaths than those who've died in all wars combined. Let that sink in. Randy's very, very smart and well read. Not to seem like I'm bragging, but I was lucky to be born with good genetics, my grandfather graduated valedictorian of his HS class in 1927, went to Bucknell, a "little Ivy" league University on a full academic scholarship in 1927, but had to drop out in 1929 due to the Depression so he could help his siblings on the family farm. I'm lucky to have inherited some of his smarts and I still have to look some things up & some words Randy uses. I've read thousands of books myself. 😄 Kudos to LoG for sounding so excellent all these years. 🤘🏼 BTW, sources say they're going to do one more album after Omens and then retire. So if you haven't seen them yet, *DO IT* Get your tickets and go while you still can. I *PROMISE* you will be glad you did. They're amazing live.

This one is more death metal to me and I love it. Thank you LOG for putting out kick ass music. It's nice to know metal is alive and well in a time when popular music on the radio sucks.

I only got into metal like June 2019, and I only discovered Lamb of God back in March when they released Memento Mori. I've been waiting for the album since then

This is absolutely the most filthiest LoG song to exist. We need more Drop C songs from them now. That breakdown is going to cause some serious brain damage in the pits!

Jason, you’re popping up wherever I am, man. Haha, I agree with the Drop C statement immensely.

I agree, so many great bands use this tuning like Converge, Mastodon, Gojira and Periphery It's not too low to the point where you have to use incredibly thick strings or use a 7 string But its got plenty of thicc chugs

As a 25-year-old in these times, this resonates with me on a very, very strong frequency. We grew up during such prosperous times, just to see the world fall apart in front of us. Day by day. Year by year. Worse, and worse. It's very disappointing that we will likely never live to see the future that we've all imagined for ourselves as a result of our ambition and aspiration for advancement and progress. The world isn't ending. Humanity is. Mother Earth is convulsing in anticipation of the purging of our infection from her body. She was here long before we were, and will be here long after we're gone. She always wins.

THE best song I’ve heard in a long time. Hands down cutting edge and bad-ass. Great work LOG.

Immediately became my more favorite song that I've heard so far on this album. I love fast paced complex riffs and drums, but, slower, heavier, simpler riffs are also badass and are a good change of pace. Probably why it stood out more at this point in the listening experience. Plus, I just love heavier, darker stuff like this a little more to begin with lol.
