Hi again Andy seen as you have the only video on KZbin of this 850nm/940nm nightfox torch I would really like your HELP please ? I have looked at the artemis T28 ir 850nm/940nm torch. They both seem to be very similar in what they do but the only thing that is swinging me towards the nightfox is that it is made in England 🇬🇧 what are your thoughts Andy? Because I value your honesty? And yes I do follow you on different shooting shows and before you say. No I'm not stalking you 😳🙄👍🍺😂🤣😅🤪

In all honesty mate most torches of this price range are very similar, I have both and they do both work great. Literally the reason why I would personally go for the night fox is their customer service is bang on, they communicate really quick and they are based in England. Top company in all run by legends 😄

@@andysrange8789 that's what people need to hear Andy 😊 you need to say something like that on your KZbin at sometime bruv but not stoot yourself in the foot though as the saying goes. You have the best Christmas you can and hope you and your family stay safe. 🍻🦚🎂

I'd be surprised at the price point if nightfox products were manufactured in England. An English based or owned company maybe but very likely manufactured in china. Doesn't mean I'm not keen to check out their products though, these days most stuff, good and bad is coming from that direction. Please do correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. I have recently got a nightfox cub, cracking piece of kit but really needs an external ir with a tighter beam for fox spotting at extended range. Will be buying the torch mount adapter to improve this.

Int shooting pigeons off a lamp illegal like sure I had to stop doing it I may be wrong but am sure
@andysrange87893 жыл бұрын
Not that I am aware, feral pigeons have always been legal to shoot with a lamp or NV. If you’ve got any updated legislation that says otherwise sharing it would be great thanks

Hi Andy I have the other Nightfox night vision torches. One is the XB5 and the other one is the XB10 my question is when you turn the brightness down with the on off button at the back did you get any lines on the digital screen of your night vision scope because I found with my pard 008p and my atn 4k pro 3-14 I got a reaction on my screen using the two Nightfox torches I have when playing with the brightness on them?
@nightfoxnightvision3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for highlighting this, we had heard of this issue mentioned for some customers with certain night vision equipment. We recently launched the Nightfox XC5, its updated circuitry eliminates any frustrating banding issues at lower IR settings, for a crystal clear beam with all night vision devices.

@@nightfoxnightvision yes so much so I hardly use them and I'm using a basic one with 940nm at the moment?

@@nightfoxnightvisionhi, I have a pard 007 and want the best long range capability possible, would the xb10 be a viable option or better with the xc5 or a vcsel type light instead? Thanks
@jinkskneale4410 Жыл бұрын
@@stephenoshea1166 Great question! The main difference between the Nightfox XC5 and XB10, is that the XB10 has a 70mm lens, compared to the XC5's 40mm lens; although both torches have the same LED, this means the XB10 can produce a thinner beam which can travel further. With either the XB10 or XC5 you would want the 850nm IR variety for the further IR range, although maximum viewing range depends on the night vision device itself but we say 200 meters should be an accurate estimate. We don't stock any vcsel IR lasers so are unable to talk about their specific abilities fully, as it would depend on the product, but lasers do tend to have a far range and provide an intense beam. Just be aware of eye safety when using them. I hope this is helpful and please do comment again if you have any further questions.
