And you are so beautiful! ❤ However, it is important to remember that even though satin is vegan, it is made of polyester (and therefore petroleum) which pollutes our planet and is of lower quality than silk, which is biodegradable. A silk bonnet can last for years and years and when it is thrown away, it is not transformed into microplastic like polyester satin, which not only pollutes our oceans, but also our food and endangers the food and natural habitat of all the animals that we are initially trying to protect with veganism. We must take this into consideration when choosing plastic satin over silk, or vegan leather over real leather and evaluate our real impact on the well-being of our planet and the quality of the products we consume 🌍
