Guys i wanna give y'all a little tip. Rice water is like a protein treatment and therefore you have to do it once every month and not every week as your hair will get damaged if you do it every week. Also, its very necessary to deep condition after rice water treatment so your hair dont become too hard. Its always effective when you let it ferment for 2 days and you can drop in peels of orange to cut out the smell. Pls do not add any oils to the fermented water and one last thing. You can get a silk hair bonnet or a shower cap to cover your hair while the rice water is in your hair and let it sit for at least an hour before washing it out. You welcome😚

@@saouchacamelia8218 thats what i know sis and i totally agree. Plus we all have different hair types(low porosity and high porosity). If every week works for you then its totally fine but if your hair starts to get thin instead of heavy or breaks, i guess u take it down to once a month. I hope this helps

1. PRE-POO: spray it on a dry hair. 2. CO-WASH: as a conditioner/in shampoo. 3. DEEP CONDITIONER: spray it/soak your hair in it, then cover your hair in a shower/plastic cap and leave it in for hour and rinse it out. 4. HAIR RINSE: last step in your shower routine, soak hair in rice water/spray it, do not rinse with water, let it dry. 5. SCALP TREATMENT: get it on your scalp and give it massage.

What is the best way for hair growth?
@reaanthi96016 жыл бұрын
This is one of those treatments that you see real results. I used to do all those treaments with eggs and stuff, and none of them seemed to work. And this one has made my hair strong, shiny and long. Not that long, because I stopped doin it (rough schedule) but I'm gonna continue it and update yaaall Update; Well it's a year later and I forgot that I even posted this. I didn't continue doing it because I was bored, to be honest. It truly helps your hair grow faster, but you have to deep condition it after using the rice water and trim it very often. I know some of you are desperate to grow your hair, I have been there so many times, but there's no point on using some rice water and not triming and deep conditioning your hair. If you dont, your hair will get damaged because it's growing in a way it's not used to. At least, that sounds like a logical reason, right? Some vitamins will REALLY help you too. And when you stop thinking about it so much, I DONT KNOW HOW, but it will start to grow eeeeven faster than ever. A year now I have stopped thinking about it and it has grown so so much. Love to all

TY so much for sharing. I am a new subscriber. I heard about you through you tuber Victoria Victoria. I am into my second week of using rice water. I used to have really bad shedding. It is amazing how after only one treatment on wash day, the shedding is nothing to speak of. This weeks routine will consist of washing my hair, rinsing the shampoo out, applying the rice water with a spray bottle, rinsing that out after approximately 30 minutes under a plastic cap, rinsing that out and then applying my diy leave in conditioner (this is exactly what I did the first time). This week I will daily use the rice water (spraying it on my scalp and hair, massaging it in) then I will apply the leave in on top of that. I will wear my hair in a bun or twists under my cap when I am out. The rise water has helped tremendously with detangling, shedding (my hair feels stronger), defining my curls and giving my hair a shine. My hair is not very long right now (about 7 inches in the back and 5 inches on top and the sides). I'm shagging it, LOL. I look forward to see what the daily use of rice water will do this week. I only wash my hair once a week. Wish me LUCK! (apologies for the long windedness}

I am from Arab and I have same natural hair as yours but less thicker. Its been almost a year, I moved on to another country and since then im experiencing an extreme hair fall. I tried almost everything on hair loss. I tried onion water which helped me but it leaves a real bad smell even after 2 times of shower and the procedure of making it is real hectic. I moved on to yogurt and coconut oil, Also egg. It gave my hair a smoothness but not a solution for hair loss. Also My hair growth is not good. Its giving me a real depression until today i read alot of reviews on Rice water. I really hope it will bring back my thick hair. I have to grow my hair in 5 months time period since i have a marriage ceremony of my brother in August. Im following your ways Lana. I hope it will workout for me. I had been using rice water for 2 weeks and it works. I have straight hair. The only 3 treatments I used is rice water, flax seed gel and castor with neem oil. I am in my mid 40s and loosing hair. It has grown like crazy. I used rice water as a face toner. My pimple on chin had stop itching. For face and underams use once every fortnight your bi carb soda with a slice of lemon as a face exfoliant or lightening your underarm. I am pretty stoked with the results. Both my flax seed gel and fermented rice water stays in my fridge. Flax seed gels you can keep for two weeks and rice water on a spray bottle for a month.

Hi which shampoo do you use for your hair
@dianamendoza68296 жыл бұрын
So we can use this as a conditioner or cleanser, but only once a week? Also, advising people to dilute their shampoo with it is fine, except that they would need to know how long the rice water is good for. Also, it’s best to store it in the fridge as opposed to in a shampoo bottle in the hot shower..

I just started using rice water today on my hair. I washed it over the weekend. So after I let it ferment. I poured 3 cup at a time on my hair while over the sink. I hope I get the results I'm hoping for. Let you know in a week.

I need to use the rice water as a scalp treatment, because my hair is just thinning to the point of seeing my scalp. When you use this as a scalp treatment, how long do you leave it in? Do you have to wash it out? How often can/should you use it as a scalp treatment? Please, please let me know? Thank you!!!

Lana! Doesn’t the protein (rice water) make your hair stiff after you leave it in? If I leave it in it wouldn’t make my hair break?
@yeshimalee23986 жыл бұрын
I tried this today for the first time and it made my hair really really soft and tangle free. I didn't dilute though (kinda forgot). ...I am excited to see how it goes. My problem though is retaining my length...

Hello, Lana. Thanks for this video. I just subscribed to your channel. I can't wait to see more from you. Your hair is stunning and so are you. I recently just discovered rice water... literally like 2 days ago. I have made up a batch of fermented rice water that I plan to use as a conditioning treatment/rinse tomorrow. I "cooked" up a batch of rice water with a twist by tweaking it with a few drops of additional oils. I just love nourishing my hair with healthy, natural goodness. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way. I've basically been natural since 2007, but due to many mistakes along the way, I'm currently on a new hair journey. I'm just a few months away from 2 years of growth this go round, but I'm ALL IN this time... no more salon visits to anyone else who will only end up ruining my natural tresses. Anyway, I plan to track my growth results. I plan to share my results, too. I absolutely LOVE my natural hair - curls, spirals, coils, and all. I know that it's only going to grow out even more beautifully by adding rice water into my routine, and I can't wait until I'm near your length as of this video. Thanks so much for sharing all these nifty tips on how to get our growth popping with rice water. 😘

Question: if I spray my scalp with rice water, will it smell? 2nd question: would spraying my roots and co-washing my hair each week with rice water be too much.
@raghada48355 жыл бұрын
Ashlee McIntosh 1) yes it will smell for sure. 2) no it won’t be much. Tips: spray your hair with rice water, leave it on for 60 minutes then take a shower. Repeat it each time you take a shower. And don’t wash your hair too often, it will grow slow. You’re welcome

Hi Lana, I found you accidentally. But I am very interested in your fermented rice water for my all one length waist long hair. I am a 69 year old Great Gramma and my hair doesn't show my age. But I do get tangles in my tiny waves in the back and experience dry flaky scalp. The top length is straight. I know, weird. So, I think your rice water will help with all. Gonna give it a go and check back in with you with results. THANK YOU for the super informative vid!👏👏👏👏😊😊😊

Hi thanks for your video. When you apply the scalp rub , do you leave it in your hair until your next wash day? And if so, do your hair have a order from the rice throughout the week?
