It is the same question as why Brady got 10k and not 3.000.000 like the best UFC fighters. Or soccer players. It is plain and simple. Less people watching, less sponsors, less commercials, less money.

It's not only about the money and sponsorships, although you're right that for most of us that is definitely a huge factor. The timeframe matters, especially if you have customized equipment like your finger spacer or grip. You need time to get the equipment, sometimes things are out of stock or on delay from the manufacturer. You need time to put it all together, to build your arrows to exactly the right size, and especially time to tune the bow and get it shooting as well as possible. It also messes up your training schedule, not having a bow while you wait for parts to ship to you.
