Same with D3 injectors here in Australia $800 each. Ford Territory diesel uses same engine (bar sump) and Ford sells the injectors for $400 each. But I can get em in UK way cheaper again. 👍

And the TDV6 oil pump housing, couldn't believe it when the local Ford dealer quoted me about $140 for the housing ( less than half of the price from LR ) when I was doing the timing belt. Couldn't throw the money at him fast enough.

Cracked it again Simon, like the D3 rear upper tailgate switch from the Fiesta. Must be lots of other stuff like that. I remember way back that Early Discovery 1 rear light lenses were the same as Austin Maestro Vans. 👍 Non Stick Nick

Hi - this is interesting ! i think you will need to get a wiring diagram and check for power at both cameras initially. It may be the problem with the fold could be linked to the camera problem on the one side

Hi Simon, I have a 2014 FL2 and my tailgate release appeared to have failed but thankfully, I can still open it via the keyfob. I need to get the fault fixed urgently as I have a dog cage in the boot and am concerned if it completely fails, I will have a trapped dog!! Will the FoMoCo also be the correct part to get for my FL? I do know these damn things are a common fault with LR's. Thoughts plse

Great vid... but you are comparing a genuine LR Part £80 with a cheap Chinese aftermarket part. You can of course buy a cheap Chinese copy LR part for the same price complete..
